King Solomon, Proverbial Promises, vs. ?

Do Proverbs promise too much?
Briefly,
King Solomon Proverbs are the Old Testament ABC’s Wisdom Advice for morality and individual control of oneself to achieve living a long and full life, barring uncontrollable circumstances a person may be confronted in life.
One thousand years later, the New Testament records the life and message of Jesus Christ is to “Love One Another,” will lead to a better living life and death on earth?
The purpose of this post is to promote understanding the limits of man’s epistemology to believe they will ever be capable to provide a better blueprint for life other than to Trust in the Lord, while living a wise and loving moral life.
King Solomon
Long life is in [wisdom’s] right hand. In [wisdom’s] left hand are riches and honor.(Proverbs 3:16)
He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end. (Ecclesiastes 3:11)
What’s My Point?
Reading the news today provides numerous opportunities to write posts to point ou the failings of man’s wisdom and love by comparing proverbs, which gave wise advice and if followed, may have avoided or prevented the sad happenings.
However, the question arises, do proverbs promise too much, or in other words, are not realistic in real life?
To answer this question, I read an essay titled, Do Proverbs Promise Too Much, which contained this following statement.
“If one does not make human knowledge wholly dependent upon the original self-knowledge and consequent revelation of God to man, then man will have to seek knowledge within himself as the final reference point. Then he will have to seek an exhaustive understanding of reality. Then he will have to hold that if he cannot attain to such an exhaustive understanding of reality, he has no true knowledge of anything at all. Either man must then know everything or he knows nothing. This is the dilemma that confronts every form of non-Christian epistemology.36 “
In My Opinion
Sadly, although the Bible message of wisdom and love is the best blueprint to build a moral life, not everyone will spend the time to read the instructions. Even though, by following the advice, it will lead them to understand how to build a hopefully longer life on earth that leads to peace, joy, and comfort in both good and bad times they may experience.
Trust in the Lord, not man’s epistemology, is the key instruction on every social blueprint for life instructions in the Bible. The more time we study the blueprint details, the better we will understand how to build a better life, to avoid pitfalls, during our limited lifespan on earth.

You Decide
Do Wisdom Proverbs promise too much or too little practical advice to lead a moral life that leads to riches and honor in life?
He is not the God of the dead but of the living” (Matthew 22:32). Was the moral life and teachings of Jesus Christ a good example and wise advice for both living and dying?
Has any of man’s non-Christian epistemology, based on history, provided to date, better advice and answers for Creation of life and death on earth than the Bible?

King Solomon, “I’m Just a Girl”

Is this comment an indication of a girl’s attitude of unfairness in life of yin or yang,  or perhaps a clue to her state of  spirituality?

King Solomon, USA Repeat Performance of Folly? Part One

download-3
Is the USA on a path to replicate the history of past failed nations?
In a previous post, I referred to a blogger’s post,  Solomon as a Political Leader, and challenged readers to  compare Solomon’s reign to our present election issues.  In this series of posts, I will relate segments of the bloggers post to current USA events and compare political policies.
King Solomon on the Future
Since no one knows the future, who can tell someone else what is to come? (Ecclesiastes 8:7)
However, history has been known to repeat over time. You decide if the USA is repeating the same follies as recorded in history and whether or not the USA will also fail as a nation after reading this post.
Why Study History? Past and Present.
The purpose of historical inquiry is not simply to present facts but to search for an interpretation of the past.  It is commonly acknowledged that an understanding of the past is fundamental to an understanding of the present.
Comparison of King Solomon’s to USA  Economic Policies
Excerpt King Solomon’s
However, there are also hints in the text that strongly allude to some glaring inadequacies in Solomon’s economic expertise. For example, 1 Kings 9.11 mentions Solomon ceding 20 cities in Galilee to King Hiram as payment for timber and gold imported from Tyre. Such a payment method implies that Solomon’s state treasury had a serious fiscal deficit, despite all the alleged wealth accrued through international trade and tribute.”
King Solomon on Debt
Do not make a habit of striking hands, of going surety for debts. If you have no resources to settle them, why should your bed be taken from under you! (Proverbs 22:25, 26)
USA Comparison of  ‘Serious Fiscal Deficit’ of Tribute (Taxes)
USA current National Debt is approaching $20 Trillion.
This years 2016 Deficit is $687 Billion, a 34 percent increase from last year.
USA –  Comparison of  ‘ceding 20 cities’ and ‘international trade.’
USA cities are not being ceded to our debtors (yet) same as King Solomon ceded Israel cities to  pay his debt. However, USA farmland, real estate, and businesses are being bought up in a fire sale by foreign interests because of President Obama, and the Hillary Clinton’s belief in open borders and globalism.

King Solomon’s Yin and Yang Thought

Ancient religions believed in both Gods and Goddesses. For example, King Solomon’s Goddess of Wisdom. King Solomon’s Seal design includes two triangles to signify the perfect union of men and woman.
