What’s Your Wisdom Ro? King Solomon Blog

Interested in a comparison of discernment of Covidiots to Fools?

The Chicago Tribune New York Times article titled: Who is the biggest Covidiot of them all – you be the judge, reported various examples of people actions during the pandemic. For example, it began with this statement.

“Fighting a pandemic is hard enough without baffling demonstrations of ignorance also going viral, leaving us to wonder if humanity stands a chance.”

The Purpose of This Post

Is to compare the medical use of spreading infections term RO to spreading RO wisdom or folly.

RO

Scientists use R0 – the reproduction number – to describe the intensity of an infectious disease outbreak.

King Solomon

The words of a talebearer are like tasty morsels, and they go down into the innermost parts of the body. (Proverbs 18:8 KJV)

In the lips of him that has understanding wisdom is found: but a rod is for the back of him that is void of understanding. (Proverb 10:13 KJV)

What’s My Point?

A wiseman will discern the words of a person to judge if they are wise of foolish.

For example, the young man statement in the article. “If I get corona, I get corona. At the end of the day, I’m not gonna let it stop me from partying”

If you compare this statement to the young man’s wisdom and love RO. it is apparent that if he lives in a household with an elderly person, or is employed in a nursing home, that his statement is foolish. He obviously does not know or care that a person can spread the virus unknowing for eight days before he himself realizes he has COVID19.

If you read the article which explains how scientists discern RO exponential effects as shown in above feature image, he is a fool and even a menace to his community. Same comparison can apply to a covidiot or a fool.

Compare the same scenario to someone who expresses an opinion based on gossip, lies, or lack of experience, or education, or discernment: of wisdom and love of himself, his family, or his community.

For example, a news source or columnist, of a gossiper, activist, or someone who spreads lies or news gossip of opinions to personal attention or profit,

Depending on his audience, the same exponential of Ro (reproduction output) is multiplied.

My point is in our present contemporary times of news outlets, social media, varying education, philosophizes of life, parental training, religious or atheists’ philosophies, or politicians or political party.

In My Opinion

In other words, the exponential of either wisdom or folly and all the various factors, we are now living in a pandemic of folly based on the present spread of both coronavirus, anarchy, gossip, activists.

Whether the pandemic of wisdom or folly continues will continue to exponentiate can only be contained or spread will be determined based on the moto of this blog.

What the world needs now in addition to love is wisdom. We are the masters of our own disasters.

You Decide

When will a vaccine be discovered to protect us from the gossip and lies being spread in the news, social media, activists and discern before participating in following the rhythm of the music of the pied pipers leading rats to drown themselves?

Or when will we wise up and end the repetition of each new generation repeating the same folly Ans previous generations as King Solomon observed 3000 years ago in this verse.?

What has been will be again,
    what has been done will be done again;
there is nothing new under the sun. (Ecclesiastes 1:9)

Or, when will we begin teaching wisdom in our school to teach wise discernment to contain the Ro of folly we read and hear in the news every day?

King Solomon, Why God Created Us, Post Six (u/d)

Is it possible in our story to interest God about our envy?
In the previous post I stated someone once said the reason God created us was because He loves to hear a good story. Will our story be pleasing to Him? If not, I suggested maybe we should begin to edit our lives to make our story be more pleasing to God.
What type of stories about envy might interest God?
Conundrums to Consider
Bible Genesis 1:27 states God created human beings in his own image. Does that mean He purposely created us with the ability to become envious? Why?
Was His purpose for us to be envious for other peoples’ traits, status, abilities, or situation because we considered them to be much luckier, smarter, more attractive, and better than ourselves?
Perhaps though, God made us for His purposes. If you start telling him about your envy, would He consider that you are in fact complaining to Him?
Who really wants to listen to a complainer? Especially if they tell you he or she did not like something you designed even though they used it for a different and wrong purpose than you designed it for?
Or, who wants to listen to a story about something not working properly to their satisfaction because they did not maintenance or use it according to His instructions?
King Solomon
A heart at peace gives life to the body, but envy rots the bones. (Proverb 14:30)
A sound heart is the life of the flesh. The heart that is healthy, morally and physically, spreads its beneficent influence over the whole body in all its functions and relations; a man that envies the happiness and prosperity of others, this preys upon his own spirits, and not only wastes his flesh, but weakens and consumes the stronger parts of his body, (Biblehub.com)
In My Opinion
I surmise the answer to all the above conundrums lies in the words “inner peace.” To achieve this state, first we must know and accept that there is a good reason and purpose for our talents. Discover what you are good at doing to serve the purpose of God. Do that well and you may find inner peace and hopefully live a long healthy life.
I also surmise, that God designed us to have free choice of good or evil in our stories. When we find inner peace in our lives, there is no need for envy of others. Instead of desire to be the same as someone else, we strive to live a full life of our own using God’s blessing and talents He gave us rather than someone else’s blessing.
To envy another’s blessings will only waste your time and talents to use your love and enjoyment in your life. Seek to use your talents to serve your God and you find Gods love will bring both love and inner peace in your life story.
Still Having Trouble?
For those who are having trouble and not yet found their purpose in life, perhaps this Excerpt might help. In a novel, I surmised the Queen of Sheba asked King Solomon fpr his advice to help her find inner peace.  The novel is a contemporary story of how ancient proverbs and wise sayings are still relevant in our modern world.
Excerpt
“Bilqis, my advice to you is to pray to your Gods to help you ponder my love for you and the path you must now choose. I will also pray again to my Gods for wisdom to help you. We are now on a mountaintop, nearer to our Gods in the heavens and away from the entreaties of the masses below in hope that they may hear us more clearly. Never underestimate the power of prayer. Do not think that your maker, who made you for His reasons, will not listen to your prayers and entreaties. Prayer is the undisputed trait of piety and the greatest source of strength for the righteous.”
Bilqis face now appeared somewhat resolved in apparent better understanding of my beliefs. I waited a while before I addressed her again with more advice.
“Bilqis, as I said, we must all make choices in our life. I choose to follow the paths of Yahweh and the Goddess of Wisdom. My advice again is to pray and meditate for as long as you need in order that you take care where to place your steps on your path in life. I am confident that your wisdom will lead you to establish the wisest route.” Take care where you put your feet down, and all your routes will be established. (Proverb 4:26)
“And how will I know when I have found the right answer.” Bilqis asked somewhat resignedly.
Peaceful sleep will elude those that are apprehensive or afraid of stumbling on the right pathway to their Gods. I believe you will know the answer to your concerns when your God bestows you with a blessing of peaceful sleep. When you wake up rested and your mind is at peace, you will have found the answers you seek to follow the right path of your choosing. Then you will journey in safety, and your foot will not stumble. If you are resting, no fears will trouble you. When you lie down, sweet sleep will come to you. (Proverb 3:23)
In the Meantime
If you are still having trouble finding inner peace, consider the conclusion made about King Solomon’s life story search for wisdom in his life.
Now all has been heard;
here is the conclusion of the matter:
Fear God and keep his commandments,
for this is the duty of all mankind.
14 For God will bring every deed into judgment,
including every hidden thing,
whether it is good or evil. (Ecclesiastes 12:13,14)
As for Our Story
I surmise God will be more interested in listening to our good deeds instead of our evil deeds. I also surmise the longer he listens, the more pleased you will be about his final judgement of our story.

King Solomon, As a Lily Among Thorns

BK00015593

“Solomon, I have traveled far to learn about your Goddess of Wisdom. May I ask how you propose teaching me her wisdom?” How did Solomon answer this question posed to him by Bilqis, Queen of Sheba?
