The Purpose of This Post
To relate ancient proverb to the issue of the issue of how to navigate children the way of wisdom in life.
King Solomon
‘In Proverbs chapters 1-9 Solomon has much to teach us about the differences between these two kinds of women. In addition, we will find that these two women personify two ways, the way of wisdom and the way of folly.”
What’s My Point?
King Solomon personified Wisdom as a female Goddess instead of the feature image of a male God.
I read an article that explains the personification between Dame Wisdom and Madame Folly
I read another article about the American education system. Which made the following statements.
“The American education system seeks to transmit knowledge, not wisdom. Especially in kindergarten and elementary school, Staudinger said, the focus is not on learning mindfulness or discussing what constitutes good judgment. While reading, writing, math and other subjects is important, Staudinger said, we should also be teaching young people how to navigate their lives. As it is, she said, “that’s left very much to the individual.”
My point is to question why we teach knowledge of everything under the sun subjects to children and not introduce them to Dame Wisdom to help them navigate around Madame Folly in their lives?
In My Opinion
There are numerous writings that state wisdom cannot be taught in schools for a variety of reasons. Frankly, I am not wise enough and do not have a Teacher, Psychology, or Philosophy Degree to understand why wisdom cannot be taught to school age children to help them be a success in life.
However, I do believe that children who live-in single-family households and high crime areas are subjected to peer pressures that will serve to navigate them away from Dame Wisdom to be influenced by Madame Folly.

‘Putting Off’ Wisdom? King Solomon Blog
What is the wisdom of “putting off” folly?
The Chicago Tribune article titled, Salvation Army expects a decrease in donations, contained this statement:
“The organization is currently serving people who, prior to the pandemic, had never asked for assistance.”
The Purpose of This Post
To relate an ancient proverb and Bible verses to the current needs of both the homeless and now the 53 million families in the USA who live paycheck to paycheck.
King Solomon
Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in your power to act. (Proverb 3:27)
Whoever shuts their ears to the cry of the poor will also cry out and not be answered. (Proverb 21:13)

What’s My Point?
In a series of posts on the issue of 53 million Americans live paycheck to paycheck and have been abandoned by political divisiveness for government funding subsidies needed because of government mandate shutdowns of their employers.
While the headlines in the news today is jubilation of Biden, the needs are increasing for the 53 million families living paycheck to paycheck and the homeless.
There will probably not be any government funds made available for a while because of the election political divisiveness increasing while at the same time more government shutdown is being mandated because of increasing spread of the pandemic.
In My Opinion,
We need to spend some time reading up on our duties to help the needy and put in practice our beliefs by donating now more than ever to private charities.

Pòlitical Bingo Conundrum?
Did two Chicago Tribune opinion columnists finally give the vital clues necessary to figure out who is responsible for spreading hatred rather than unity in the USA?
The Chicago Tribune articles titled:
Religion, Politics and Mark Curran contained this statement.
“Since 2007, there has been a remarkably sharp trend away from religion,”
Biden Closing in on Unity: Trump with Fury and Hate, contained this statement.
“He (Pope Francis) goes on to say that politics is something more noble than posturing, marketing and media spin. ‘These sow nothing but division, conflict and a bleak cynicism.’
The Purpose of This Post
Is to relate ancient proverb to discern about the question: who is responsible for spreading hate.
King Solomon
As water reflects the face, so one’s life reflects the heart. (Proverb 27:19)
Without wood a fire goes out; without a gossip a quarrel dies down. (proverb 26:20)
What’s My Point?
I read the Chicago Tribune every morning and believe both of these columnists have been bias toward President Trump from day one of his term.
My point is, as the above proverb gives advice for a person to look into a water or mirror and reflect what has been in their heart.
Both of these columnists have been lighting a fire by using news media to spread hatred of President Trump and his policies since day one of his election, in my opinion.
In My Opinion
In my blog post today titled: Voters Vexations? contained this statement.
“The truth is most voters rely on news media information which depends not on education, but on choices made by media owners’ guidance,
In other words, perhaps the reason for the hatred and lack of unity may be the result of both the decrease of religion in the USA.
Perhaps hatred is being initiated because the media bias and/or gossip being reported in the hearts of news columnists has been fueling the sad news we read every day in the news because of this following reason, in my opinion.
Perhaps religion is waning because Most parents can no longer afford to send their children to private religious schools and the result is religion is waning.
And perhaps that is the reason our Nation is becoming less unified and the results of waning religious values is what is vexing voters and fueling the acts of hatred I read being reported in the Chicago Tribune every day.
Mark Twain made this profound comment about news media
“if you don’t read the newspaper, you are uninformed; if you do read the newspaper, you are misinformed.”

Magic H Word Riddle? King Solomon Blog
What word that begins with the letter H works like magic to change an ordinary life into something extraordinary, yet King Solomon wisdom verses never used this word?
I read a blog post which stated this H word is magical.
The reason King Solomon verses never contained the word is because of this explanation.
“Primary (pre-Christian) meaning is not possible to determine, but probably it was “that must be preserved whole or intact, that cannot be transgressed or violated,”
Its origin meaning is “health, happiness, good luck”

Many pray for healing of body and soul after they become afflicted with an illness.

What’s My Point?
I read two posts today about healing.
The first post contained the following verse,
“I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears; behold, I will heal you.
The second post was titled: Some Disease is a Consequence of Sin
After reading the posts, the questions of why some people are born with physical ailments or bring about consequeses of health problems caused by sin.
In My Opinion
While we may never know the reasons why we may be born or become infected with diseases such as the present pandemic, we do know there are ailments of both body, mind, and soul are the result of foolish choices we may make on our paths in life.
In other words, the wisest time to pray for healing may be before we choose to engage in sin.
And in my opinion, there will never ever be a foolish time not to pray to “refresh” both young and old bones in need for healing as we walk or may someday be pushed on a wheelchair on our paths in life

One Issue Voter, Wise or Foolish? King Solomon Blog
Does it make sense to vote on one issue only in the coming election. And if so, which issue would you choose to “determine the entire future of our country?
Many people will vote in the coming election on politicians or political party they trust because the issues of human governance in our Nation are so varied and complex.
There are varied opinions on the wisdom and folly of voting on one issue.
The Purpose of This Post
Is to relate an ancient proverb of who the wisest man in the world, after spending his entire life on observing people and his own experiences in engaging in the wisdom and folly of humans choices, decided the best choice who to trust as they follow their paths in life.
Definition of trust in – Merriam Webster

: to have a strong belief in the goodness or ability of (someone or something): to have trust in (someone or something)
King Solomon
Trust in the LORD with all your heart; and lean not unto your own understanding. (Proverb 3:5)
What’s My Point?
Anyone who studies the wisdom of history will conclude that that there are two types of governing of laws. The laws of man and the laws of God.
History also records the numerous failings of choices made by man.
My point is in the coming election, we humans are about to make a choice of humans to govern us who believe in different “paths” which may or may not be perfect based on their “leanings.”.
In My Opinion,
There are different opinions as to whether it is wise or foolish, or unethical to vote on a single issue.
In my opinion, I agree on the following opinion based on my choice of issue most needed to determine the future of our country.
“Not unethical at all. Issues have different levels of importance to individual voters and some issues are inherently so important that they will affect or determine the entire future of our country. It only makes sense to put that issue first when voting.”
And the one issue in my opinion most needed key issue for the future of our Nation is school choice or school vouchers.
My reasoning is if we study history and agree that humans are not perfect choices to trust to lead us on our paths and never have been, based on the present circumstances we are experiencing in our Nation.
What is needed is to educate our children to return to understanding who the wisest man advised as the best choice to trust to help us govern and lead us on the right path in both our personal and governing leadership roles.

What wisdom advice might we consider about the news that President Trump and his wife have tested positive?
The morning news is reporting the that the even the President and his wife are susceptible to the virus in spite of all the human precautions to protect them.
The Purpose of This Post
Is to relate ancient wisdom verses and recent medical information of improvements in treatments of the virus and risks based on sex and age.
King Solomon
The prudent see danger and take refuge, but the simple keep going and pay the penalty. (Proverb 27:12))
I have seen something else under the sun: The race is not to the swift or the battle to the strong, nor does food come to the wise or wealth to the brilliant or favor to the learned; but time and chance happen to them all. (Ecclesiastes 9:11)
In their heart’s humans plan their course, but the LORD establishes their steps. (Proverb 16:9
Since no one knows the future, who can tell someone else what is to come? (Ecclesiastes 8:7)
What’s My Point?
A CNN article titled: ‘Helpless’ doctors at start of coronavirus pandemic now have more treatments to save lives, reports what doctors have learned over the past nine months is saving lives.
The September CDC, Center for disease control for September lists the ages of victims who died from the pandemic.
My point is regardless of how prudent human precautions where to protect the couple from the virus, no humans are capable of knowing for certain what will happen in the future.
In My Opinion
The President and his wife will receive the best medical care available in the world and hopefully will soon recover.
And regardless of what is in our hearts and minds, or whether we make prudent wise or reckless foolish choices of chance in our short lifespans on earth, this sad occurrence should remind us that we are all mere human mortals and no one knows the future.
