Should a manager be described as wise or foolish to shut down dirty fossil energy sources before clean green energy sources were available?
The Chicago Tribune opinion articles titled: Illinois Statehouse can reduce our sky-high energy costs, and, Biden wisely favors fossil fuels for today, but not for tomorrow, pose a conundrum of Democrat leadership management decisions deemed to be either wise of foolish.
In other words, was it wise to issue Presidential Orders and State laws to limit energy supplies before green energy replacement source were available?

Is to relate ancient wisdom verses, and supplies idiom to tis conundrum.

What’s My Point?
If we read the two articles, one which describes Biden as Wise, and the other opinion to describe how the Democrats passed laws that in effect shut down fossil fuels energy before green energy is available/
Perhaps we should first discern which word meanings and use of wise or foolish is more factual to describe the Democrat critical thinking and discernment management of our Nation and State. Democrat leaders’ management skills to compare to the ancient wisdom advice of King Solomon.
In other words, is what is occurring now in our Nation and State high costs of energy, inflation, energy dependence on foreign Nations, because the Democrat leaders did not know how to go to the” city”- (green energy, cleaner air, energy dependence).

Read the articles and you decide who you should vote for in the Upcoming November election will be better manager critical thinking and discernment abilities needed to lead our Nation and State in the future?
