King Solomon, CNN, BuzzFeed (Repost)

Are these two sources of journalism or gossip?
Purpose of This Reposting This Post
Appears nothing has changed at Buzzfeed since my previous post of 1/13/17 based on the latest foolish news reports of President Trump instructing Cohan to lie. Sad.

If the civic purpose of journalism is to provide people with the information they need to be free and self-governing, should political malicious news gossip be reported by journalists?
Journalism Definition
the activity or profession of writing for newspapers, magazines, or news websites or preparing news to be broadcast.
Gossip Definition
casual or unconstrained conversation or reports about other people, typically involving details that are not confirmed as being true
Froward Definition
(of a person) difficult to deal with; contrary.
King Solomon
A naughty person, a wicked man, walketh with a froward mouth.
He winketh with his eyes, he speaketh with his feet, he teacheth with his fingers;
Frowardness is in his heart, he deviseth mischief continually; he soweth discord.
Therefore shall his calamity come suddenly; suddenly shall he be broken without remedy.
These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:
A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,
An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief,
A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren. (Proverbs 6:12-19 KJV)
CNN
“You don’t have to watch CNN for too long to know that Chris Cuomo, Dana Bash, Anderson Cooper, Wolf Blitzer, Don Lemon and other CNN news anchors are Democrats, and guess what! That’s a problem because CNN is a news organization not a late-night show.” (Source HERE)
BuzzFeed
Is an independent newsfeed digital media company, In it’s About Page, Buzzfeed does not state it is a source of journalism, (Source HERE)
In other words, readers should not consider what they read in BuzzFeed is verifiable news journalism. It may be fake news , falsehoods, gossip, or personal opinions written by a froward source.
In My Opinion
There is a vast world of difference between journalism and gossip sources.
Any source that portends news, yet claims to be a news source of journalism, destroys their reputation to provide a civic duty and obligation to provide people with the information they need to be free and self-governing.
Spreading malicious gossip is immoral.
If perhaps CNN purposely linked their journalism news report to increase readership of the BuzzFeed malicious gossip article the day before President Elect Donald Trump’s first major press conference, it was immoral journalism.
The foundation of Wisdom is truth, malicious gossip is folly spread by froward writers or news media.
You decide.
Regards and goodwill blogging.

King Solomon, One Clue?

Interested in one reason why some news media broadcasters and/or newspapers say what they say or write even though they may not agree with what they say or write?

King Solomon, Trump’s 100 Bird Days

Interested in some bird advice for President Trump and his critics?
Critics of President Trump’s first one hundred days in office need to read about birds from a biologist who wrote a book. This post is an analogy of birds, not tweets, to the first 100 days of President Trump.
Frankly, no one in history has ever been successful in fixing all the problems in the world since the beginning of time and recorded history, let alone 100 days.
Anyone criticizing him is just “pulling his chain” because they either do not agree or like him or his agenda, even though he won the election because voters agree with his agenda.
Why a Bird Analogy?
Because of three reasons.
The first is King Solomon, renowned in ancient times as the wisest man in the world. thought he could solve all the problems in the world and came to the conclusion no one can, yet many that follow him will try and do the same.   For what will the man do who is to come after the King? What men have already done. (Ecclesiastes 2:12)
The second is the advice King Solomon gave that we should consider the ways of the creatures on earth to seek wisdom and inspiration in our lives. For example to work hard as the ant. “Go to the ant, you sluggard! Consider her ways and be wise” (Proverb 6:6)
The third is because of the advice a wise father gave to his kids how to approach a school task about birds that seemed overwhelming to them. The child grew up to write a book about his advice to take on one task at a time. Anne Lamott’s Bird by Bird: Some Instructions on Writing and Life.
What Bird Advice Analogy?
  1. “Almost all good writing begins with terrible first efforts. You need to start somewhere. Start by getting something—anything—down on paper. A friend of mine says that the first draft is the down draft—you just get it down. The second draft is the up draft—you fix it up.”
In My Opinion
President Trump is working hard like an ant to fulfill his campaign promises. His first efforts may not have been perfect in the views of his distractors. He may never accomplish everything at first or even a percentage of his campaign promises. Anyone who reads or follows all the problems going on in the USA and the world today will agree that dealing with all the problems is indeed an overwhelming task.
However, because our problems are indeed overwhelming, we should not give up trying to make our world a little bit better, one step at a time, or one bird at a time. King Solomon wrote this inspiration on what to do in our lives when faced with seemingly overwhelming tasks or problems.
King Solomon
Sow your seed in the morning,
and at evening let your hands not be idle,
for you do not know which will succeed,
whether this or that,
or whether both will do equally well. (Ecclesiastes 11:6)
You Decide
What problems (birds) do you want President Trump to focus on “one bird at a time. Send him a “tweet” and tell him.
My choice is to bring manufacturing plants back to the USA so workers can earn livable wage jobs again and pay taxes instead of being on the public dole. It will take years to build plants, obtain equipment, and train workers to produce widgets.
