Should open borders be decided by the President or by Congress?
The Chicago Tribune article titled: What I watched in a Chicago Immigration Court, reported wis the heartbreaking details of what is taking place to illegal immigrants along with this statements:
“When Trump took office there were 542,311 deportation cases ….when he left, there were 1.29 million…………average Court wait period i 2016 was 945 days now 1014 days.”
That is if a catch and release illegal immigrant is shows up for a Court date or disappears into other areas of the Nation.
Cable news is once again reporting about a crisis at the border because of President Biden Executive Orders returned to catch and release into the USA until a court date years in the future. Instead of catch and return to stay in Mexico until immigration applications are approved to allow for a legal immigration.

What’s My Point?
If we discern some of the following reasons why there is a return crisis at the border again, here as some reasons either being reported or not being made public by our legislators.
Perhaps – Because in legislators’ hearts, they believe grateful immigrants in time will vote for them in the e future?
Or Perhaps – Because legislators believe the majority of voters agree with them that it is in the USA best interests because our Nation is big enough and wealthy enough to subsidize immigrants for a time in order to expand the population for the long-term benefit of our Nation?
In My Opinion,
I frankly don’t know why President Joe Biden signed the Executive Order instead of Congress.
In my opinion, President Joe Biden needs to explain why he believes open borders it is in the best interests of our Nation?
Only the Federal Government has the authority and responsible by law to protect our borders and not the States.
And why he believes that he, instead of Congress, should have decided to reopen the borders?
That is so voters can hold accountable in the next election the legislators who voted to open or close the borders instead of a President who took an oath to follow the laws of the Constitution, and not whatever he or his political party believes about open borders.
You Decide
Do we believe in catch and release or catch and return is in the best interests of our Nation?
Do you believe this issue should be decided by Congress and not by Presidential Executive Orders?
Why can’t Congress make a decision on this issue which has been an issue for over forty years?
Why is it we cannot even remember that this issue was one of the main reasons why voters elected President Trump just four years ago?
Is it because we voters are the same as dogs because we keep voting for Congress legislators and allowing them to keep ignoring this issue?
