Does age make a difference in regards to wisdom? Another age old question we may consider before delegating additional responsibility to an employee or a political candidate. In ancient times, before modern miracle medicines, it was considered to be a testament of a person’s wisdom to achieve old age living a long righteous life. In our modern world, it is a rare person that lives to achieve a long life when he or she may abuse their bodies consuming excesses of food, tobacco, alcohol or drugs and avoids exercise. In a novel I surmised what King Solomon may have answered the Queen of Sheba when she asked his opinion about choosing a young or older person to help him govern. The novel is a contemporary application of a story form to promote understanding of proverbs and ancient wise sayings in relation to our modern times.
