King Solomon, A Riddle, HIV/AIDS, ALS?

What is the answer to the riddle of the missing one word that drives the wisdom or folly of government medical research funding?

Riddle Definition, Merriam-Webster
a mystifying, misleading, or puzzling question posed as a problem to be solved or guessed CONUNDRUMENIGMA
2something or someone difficult to understand
The Purpose of This Post
To provide and answer to this riddle in relation to why did God allow man to discover the mystery of what causes HIV/ALS, but not ALS?
King Solomon
It is the glory of God to conceal a matter; to search out a matter is the glory of kings. (Proverb 25:2)
Long life is in her right hand; in her left hand are riches and honor. (Proverb 25:2)
The prudent see danger and take refuge, but the simple keep going and pay the penalty. (Proverb 22:3)
A wise man will hear and increase learning,
And a man of understanding will [
b]attain wise counsel,
To understand a proverb and an enigma,
The words of the wise and their riddles. (Proverbs 1:5-6)
 HIV/ALS and ALS
ALS, more recognized as Lou Gehrig’s Disease, the beloved ball player who died from it on June 2, 1941. Yet the medical cause still remains a medical mystery 78 years later.
In 1983, the HIV virus was discovered and billions of dollars of research was funded by the Government and private sources. For example, taxpayers through Government have funded 26 billion per year for HIV/AIDS compared to only 950 million totals ever allocated for ALS.
Granted more people contract HIV/AIDS than ALS, but the question remains why we now choose to favor investing more time and more billions o discovers a cure for one disease and not the other. Even to the point of risking gene editing of unborn babies to prevent HIV/AIDS.
What’s My Point?
Notice that the above ancient Bible wisdom proverb mentions “the words of the wise and their riddles” which is why I am posing this issue as a riddle question.
As for the answer to this riddle, the above proverbs provide clues of how wisdom becomes a factor to differentiate the differences in the glory of God and man. The glory of man being to search out a matter, or in other words to discover the medical causes of many diseases over time if we invest our time and money.
For example, we are continuing to invest massive time and money on HIV/AIDS, but not ALS. Even though we have discovered the cause and reasons how to prevent the suffering of one disease, yet still have not discovered the same for ALS?
In other words, another above proverb reminds us how wisdom can lead to a long life if we are prudent, rather than foolish to engage in taking preventative measures to prevent HIV/AIDs.
In my next post, I will provide the one riddle word answer based on the above King Solomon’s Proverbs along with the reasoning why, in my opinion.
This is to allow anyone interested time to discern the riddle and compare my answer to theirs.
Regards and good will blogging.
