Is our Nation and Government in moral and political crisis? Why?
Separation of Church and State was an issue in 1980, same as it is today.
In My Opinion,
If interested, read what was written in 1980 about proverbs and politics. Then compare the statements to today’s issues on morals and politics four decades later in relation to what we now hear and read in the news.
In a previous post, I stated the Supreme Court erred in their interpretation of separation of church and state.
Warning, it will take some time to read and discern.
King Solomon, Ecclesiastes 3:5-8
There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under the heavens:
and a season for every activity under the heavens:
- 5. a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,
a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing,
6 a time to search and a time to give up,
a time to keep and a time to throw away,
7 a time to tear and a time to mend,
a time to be silent and a time to speak,
8 a time to love and a time to hate,
a time for war and a time for peace.
You Decide
Would our nation be in moral and political crisis today if the 1980 statements were taken seriously then, compared to what is being reported in today’s news?
If after reading, who and what political party will you choose to vote for in the next elections?
Is it time now for Christians become more involved in politics?
Regards and goodwill blogging.
