King Solomon on Long Term Plans and Integrity

If after you read the excerpt, consider his biblical statement, ‘nothing is new under the sun.’ Then discern our present state of our union and the missing element of long term planning along with the integrity of political leadership. The novel is a contemporary application of a story form to promote understanding of proverbs and ancient wise sayings in relation to our modern times.
Excerpt
“Let’s begin by discussing our choices for the future. We are leaders and must carefully decide a course for our people. Either they will follow and support our decisions, emulate our examples, or become our enemies and try to do away with us.”
“First, we must choose war or peace to engage with our neighbors or enemies. If we choose war, we will pay a steep price. Many leaders and heroes die in wars. We will have to decide whether to kill all of our enemies or remain with them to maintain order and prevent retaliation. We will have to feed and supply an army if we decide to remain and most probably   incur hated as invaders of their lands.”
“On the other hand, if we choose peace, our leaders and heroes will live on to have families and children, to continue their tree of life. Leaders will engage in building our lands to flourish instead of destruct in wars. We will need to find livelihoods for them. How we do this presents another choice.”
“If we choose to prosper as a nation, we must have a plan. Prince Adoniram has a plan to expand trade and commerce to prosper.”
“Law or anarchy are also choices we must decide. The laws we maintain must be fair, just, and administered with integrity. If we allow crooked and treacherous men to flourish, anarchy will benefit them at the expense of the righteousness in our communities.  We must guide our people to be upright, and prevail over anarchy.” The integrity of upright men guides them, but the crookedness of treacherous men destroys them. (Proverb 11:3)
