Another opinion why he did it?
The Chicago Tribune article titled, What Others Are Saying, gave another opinion of why Senator Durbin gambled to reveal or accuse President Trumps alleged s– thole remark.
“He instantly recognized that Democrats would gain more publicly from Mr. Trumps private words than they would from any DACA deal.”
“For Democrats, every waking moment……to gain control of the House in November.”
“As for Dreamers………..they can wait.”
In Other Words
The writer stated that because he made public his accusation, true or not makes no difference, the 800,000 Dreamer will have to wait. So, what was his reason for his gamble, knowing well his accusation would make him “a dead man walking” to ever be trusted in another bipartisan meeting in Washington?
Did he help or hurt the Dreamers who everyone believes will be granted amnesty in time? That is because they are victims of Congress failure to enforce the border for the last four decades since the 1985 previous amnesty.

In My Opinion
Senator Durbin knew Trump would be angry. He had a purpose. Will his gamble in the end turn out to be winning or losing hand in time, for the Democratic party in the next election.
