…when you vote, and consider this proverb of wisdom.
King Solomon
Watch over your heart with all diligence, For from it flow the springs of life. Put away from you a deceitful mouth And put devious speech far from you. (Proverb 4-24)
In ancient times the heart and belly was considered the place where words were stored instead of the mind. The proverb implies a metaphor for you to compare a liar same a polluter who fouls a spring of water you drink. The proverbial advice is to repulse them to prevent your water and heart from being polluted by their lies.
You Decide
As a voter, which candidate you believe will pollute your mind, and/or nation’s springs of life.
Hillary Clinton
If you are a voter and want to identify with Hillary Clinton solely because she is a woman, it is your choice and decision. If you believe she will do what she promises, that too is your decision.
However, if you perhaps believe she is a liar, why would anyone want to identify with her, or believe she will do what she promises?
Donald Trump
A fellow blogger, CitizenTom.com, wrote this excerpt statement in his post titled, Time to Gang Up on Trump.
“What is the problem? Donald Trump has a nasty habit of saying things that offend people. What is peculiar, however, is that folks are offended the most when Trump says stuff that is perfectly true.”
Regards and goodwill blogging.
