“All you need is love,” according to political protesters.
Yesterday, a Chicago Tribune Article titled, 4th day of anti-Trump marches, reported this.
One man in a red University of Wisconsin sweatshirt shouted, “Go Trump” as the crowd passed, but he was drowned out by protesters singing “All you need is love.”
Prayer
Citizen Tom wrote a post titled, Post-Election Prayer, and included a letter he received from his Congressman with a prayer for our nation.
King Solomon,
In, 1 Kings 3:5-15, King Solomon prayed for wisdom to lead his people after his ‘Post Kingship Appointment.’
Wisdom and Love
If interested read my following comment to Citizen Tom about the need for prayer,  wisdom, and love.
I believe in prayer. I also know there are many in America and the world who do not, and that is their choice. How to unite both believers and non-believers, is now, and has always been, the greatest American challenge.
Perhaps this excerpt of the prayer may help.
Endue with the spirit of wisdom those to whom in thy Name we entrust the authority of government, that there may be justice and peace at home, and that, through obedience to thy law, we may show forth thy praise among the nations of the earth.
Unfortunately, without the ‘spirit of thy Name,’ and the  ‘the spirit of obedience,’ the spirit of authority of government and duty is weakened. While the spirit of laws may promote fear to instill obedience and justice, love is a far greater motivator.
How to combine both love and wisdom is now and always has been the greatest challenge to unite Americans, and in the world.
You Decide
Will, or can our nation survive on ‘all you need is love’ without prayer or wisdom?
Regard and goodwill blogging.
