King Solomon, Amazing Hypocrisy of Vaping vs. Legalizing Recreational Marijuana

Are sales marketers wiser than certain legislators and voters?

The Chicago Tribune reports that Chicago is suing Juul for selling a nicotine product to teenagers, while at the same time Legislators are targeting legislation to approve legalized recreational marijuana.
Both products are medically proven to have harmful effects on brains with greater harmful effects on younger brains.
While laws will stipulate it to be illegal to sell recreational marijuana to underage users, only a fool would believe that once a product is made legally available, it will be totally  effective to prevent greater available and use to occur by underage uses and marketers know how to legally “Puff” product claims.
Purpose of This Post
To explain why, in my opinion, marketers of products are wiser than most Legislators.
King Solomon
Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it. (Proverb 22:6 NIV)
A hypocrite with his mouth destroyeth his neighbour: but through knowledge shall the just be delivered. (Proverb 11:9 KJV)
These also are sayings of the wise: To show partiality in judging is not good: (Proverb 24:23 NIV)
What’s My Point?
Three thousand years ago, King Solomon wrote a wisdom proverbs to record his observations of wise or foolish actions of humans.
If you discern who is the wiser in regard to the above proverbs how to target the young to become addicted to buying their products for possibly long periods or even a lifetime, which one is wiser.
If you discern who is wiser in regard to the above products to puff their products, meaning it is lawful for a sales marketer to exaggerate the qualities of their products, which one is wiser.
For example, Juul opening advertises its products contain nicotine as being an addictive substance. The CDC, USA Government Center for Disease Control, opening states that both nicotine and the PCP in marijuana harm human brains.;
The hypocrisy is why legislators are being partial by suing Juul while at the same time opening endorsing the use of recreational marijuana sales.
In My Opinion
As the Proverb 11:9 states, there is an element of hypocrisy of one mouth destroying a neighbor and an element of lack of knowledge taking place by Legislators. How can they being silent about explaining the harmful effects if both products to voters and users while at the same time promote the legislation to allow legalized recreational marijuana?
Knowing that no matter what the law states that it will be unlawful to sell to minors, the more available a product becomes, the greater the use becomes, especially if that product serves to addict the users.
Another question is why legislators who know that the majority of addictive drugs are coming from south of the border, or in the mail, continue to ignore preventive measures to stop the flow into the USA?

You Decide
Are legislators wise or foolish for slamming shut one gateway and opening another gateway that will in time promote for teenagers to puff products that destroy their brains?
Are sales marketers of legal or illegal addictive products wiser than our Legislators?
Are we voter wise or foolish to continue to vote for these legislators to use their power to prevent the flow of addictive substances to destroy the brains of our young?
Or are we fools to allow sales marketers to “puff” their harmful products to our young or have our brains harmfully affected already from puffing their products.
Should a specific course titled Wisdom become a mandatory course in all schools that teach minor children?
It’s been three thousand years since the above proverbs were observed to dis
cern human behavior being wise or foolish, when will we wise up?
In the above feature image, do Hollywood actors promote wise images for minors to emulate?
