Is there a relationship between these three words in governing?
I read three posts from fellow bloggers. One centered on the word holy which is a word first used in the 12th century to more or less differentiating the word righteousness found many times in King Solomon proverbs.
The purpose of this post is to help Trump haters and critics to understand the simple wisdom of President Trump’s modem operandum of governing based on these three words.
Definitions
Reciprocity – noun
the practice of exchanging things with others for mutual benefit, especially privileges granted by one country or organization to another.
Righteousness – noun
the quality of being morally right or justifiable.
Holy-adjective
dedicated or consecrated to God or a religious purpose; sacred.
King Solomon
Righteousness exalts a nation,
but sin condemns any people. (Proverb 14:34)
but sin condemns any people. (Proverb 14:34)
27“Look,” says the Teacher “this is what I have discovered:
“Adding one thing to another to discover the scheme of things—
28while I was still searching
but not finding—
I found one upright man among a thousand,
but not one upright woman among them all.
29This only have I found:
God created mankind upright,
but they have gone in search of many schemes.” (Ecclesiastes Chapter Seven)
What’s My Point?
If you take the time to read the three posts and discern the content as I have, all three words are related in President Trumps type of governing.
While some may vehemently object to the word holy in the same sentence as President Trump, most people are aware that every one born will sin or make mistakes over time.
King Solomon only found one upright man even though God created mankind upright, everyone seems to search many schemes (sins or mistakes.)
Discern his simple method of governing is basically reciprocity as explained in one article. Then compare to the other two articles which describe holy or using scripture in governing,
In My Opinion
President Trump may be no holy saint, but his method of employing reciprocity is basically both easy to discern and in some ways Christian in spirit.
What is wrong with dealing with friends and foes in a reciprocal manner?
For example,
Trade
What is wrong with balancing trade in a reciprocal manner so USA workers can earn a leviable wage and at the same time the USA does not become reliant on other countries manufacturers industries.
Foes
When another country threatens us, reciprocate in kind. It may be a personal Christian belief to turn the other cheek in personal relationships or matters. However, in governing, give unto Caesar what is Creasers in relation to government and politics is also a Christian belief.
Political Parties
Reciprocate with the voters who elected him to fulfill his campaign promises.
You Decide
Is reciprocity wrong to expect in governing?
Is treating others the way you want to be treated somehow related to reciprocity?
Regards and good will blogging.
