King Solomon, Intriguer’s Legal Recreational Marijuana “Plan” is …

…. working as planned by the same sponsor recorded in the Biblical “Ambush”?

The Chicago Tribune article titled, Marijuana legalization in Illinois sparks an out lash, contained these statements:
“People come to meetings when they are against something, not when they are for something, or have no opinion at all.” Rosenthal said.
“Our children are watching with wide open eyes and ears, and we want them to live in a community that reflects our values, she said. And no amount of money will be worth it.”
“We’re not living in a bubble, she said, and if we don’t have a dispensary resident will drive outside of town outside of town and we won’t have the revenues.”
“The debate shows that the law allowing local control over cannibalism operations is working as planned law is working,” said sponsoring State Legislator Heather Steans, a Chicago Democrat.
“That’s local democracy at work.” She said. “That’s a good thing.”
The Purpose of This Post
Is to convey ancient wisdom advice on when is a wise time to be silent vs. when to speak up for your family and community.
Hopefully to prevent the same political manipulations in your local communities as was “planned” and “swallowed up by fools’ who allowed themselves to be fooled   by Chicago and Illinois legislators.
King Solomon
He who lays plans to do evil gets the name “Intriguer: (Proverbs 24:8)
There is precious treasure and oil in the dwelling of the wise, but a foolish man swallows it up (Proverb 21:30).
But they lie in wait for their own blood; they ambush their own lives (Proverbs 1:18-19)
What’s My Point?
The wording on the referendum submitted by politicians who voted to ask voters the following question:
““In the event marijuana is legalized, should the city of Chicago appropriate revenue from the sale of marijuana to increase funding for Chicago Public Schools and for mental health services?”
So how much was actually appropriated after the legislators voted for legalized marijuana was approved by Illinois legislators?
Illinois HB 1438 Revenue Distribution
2% to public education and safety campaigns
8% to the Local Government Distributive Fund, for prevention and training for law enforcement
25% to the Recover, Reinvest, and Renew (3R) Program
20% to mental health services and substance abuse programs
10% to pay unpaid bills
35% to the General Revenue Fund
In other words, the referendum question misled voters as “planned.”.
In other words, the same motivation of greed and avarice that convinced Adam and Eve is being repeated over and over and over in every new generation since the beginning of time.
In My Opinion
What is sad is legalizing recreational marijuana will result in more people using it.
The police were against the law because when they sat in legislative discussions, “their concerns were largely ignored.”
““Our biggest concern about the location is the possible extra traffic, and the Police Department’s main concern is that it will be a cash-only business,” Frum said.
What is sad, is legal recreational marijuana will not eliminate a black market to sell at a cheaper cost than highly taxed legal marijuana has been reported in the States that approved its sale.

You Decide,
Should ever local community have their own referendum to decide if they want it sold in their communities instead of legislators who are greedy for more tax revenue and sellers for profit or treasure?
Do you age with the Bill sponsor’s statement?
“That’s local democracy at work,” she said. “That’s a good thing.”
Will you be happy if you are a parent and your children becomes a “pothead” or worse, addicted in time if his use turns out to be gateway drug habit because you were silent and did not speak out to prevent easier access sales in your community?
Will the tax revenue collected to fund  mental health be sufficient to cover a greater number of patients because it is a scientific proven fact that marijuana affects the brains of users? And common sense marketing has proven when you make something pleasurable more available, the end result will be more users, amd perhaps more brains damaged?
Will the Illinois plan basically make use of the same plan sponsor in the Bible that was proposed to Adam and Eve that led to their spiritual death?
