King Solomon, Sixth Planet Extinction is Happening Now?

Should we be concerned about climate change potential to kill humans, animals, or plant life now and in the future?

I visited two world-class museums in Chicago this year to view exhibits about the effects of climate changes and evolution over time on our planet.
The first museum was the Museum of Science and Industry. After viewing a special exhibit about rapid Ice Melting and then experiencing this past week a Polar Vortex I wrote two posts of my personal opinions on this issue.
The second museum was the Field Museum which exhibits Evolving Planet explaining the six extinctions on our planet. The exhibits explain in great detail the killing of all or partial life that has occurred in the previous recorded five planet extinctions caused by either volcano, meteors, or various warming or cooling conditions and gases on our planet.
The exhibit provides detailed scientific explanations of how we are presently living in the Sixth Extinction experiencing daily numerous extinctions of both animal and plants this very moment on our planet.
The Purpose of This Post
Is to relate ancient wisdom to the present scientific and political controversy and debate taking place in the USA and world about climate change and evolution.
I am not qualified to give a scientific opinion or to state unequivocally that human pollution is the direct cause of the present warming and animal and plant extinctions on our planet.
Neither am I qualified to state there is unequivocal and unquestionable scientific proof that evolution of hominids led to humans. However, I personally believe it is questionable that no scientific 100 percent DNA proof has ever been produced to unequivocally link hominids to humans. Perhaps DNA may be a clue for scientists to not dismiss the Biblical explanation of God’s Creation of humans, plants animals on our planet?
This post will only relate proverbial wisdom or folly for readers to consider and decide for themselves what information they may choose to trust to believe or act upon the two issues of global warming and human evolution.
King Solomon Bible Verses with Brief Interpretations
When times are good, be happy; but when times are bad, consider this: God has made the one as well as the other. Therefore, no one can discover anything about their future. (Ecclesiastes 7:14 NIV)
King Solomon’s philosophy of life and advice of human’s limitations to predict the future.
The LORD possessed (created) me in the beginning of his way, before his works of old. (Proverb 8:22)
King Solomon belief in God’s Creation of humans, plants, animals, and our planet.
God gave Solomon wisdom and very great insight, and a breadth of understanding as measureless as the sand on the seashore. (Kings 4:24)
Biblical verse stating the vast extent of God’s gift to King Solomon’s talents of wisdom, visionary and pragmatic leadership and management skills.
A man of small means with one servant is better off than on who makes a show of grandeur, but is short of bread. A righteous man cares for the well-being of his animals, but the feelings of the wicked are cruel. He who tills his soil has his fill of bread. (Proverbs 12:9-11)
Advice to warn that spending your time and resources and even borrowing to engage in grand schemes while overlooking and ignoring pragmatic care for your resources in order to provide basic living means and needs is foolish.
If you find honey, eat just enough– too much of it, and you will vomit. (Proverb 25:16NIV
Advice to live a life of moderation.
The prudent see danger and take refuge, but the simple keep going and pay the penalty. (Proverb 22:3)
Advice to discern and act accordingly to prevent folly and unnecessary tragedy from occurring in your lives.
What’s My Point?
Wisdom advice is relevant and necessary, even vital, to help us humans discern the present Sixth Extinction taking place on our planet.
For Example
Enjoy all of God’s blessing each day in our limited time of life for no human knows for certain what will happen in the future.
Moderation can add years to your life. You know if you not being moderate if you are addicted to food, drugs, or indulge in excess whether it is extravagance, habits or work or play.
A bad manager who ignores providing protection for his employees handling dangerous chemicals in an industrial plant in order to profit more is an unrighteous fool.
We all know our political leaders are fool managers if we have to wear a pollution mask walking down the street.
History records many human excesses of shooting buffalo for sport while riding on a train, fishing and felling trees without conservation plan to replenish or care for future needs of our posterity.
An island of plastic waste the size of a State floating in the ocean because we decided to use plastic containers instead of the reusable container is another rising of human excess and bad foolish leadership and consumers.
Etc. etc.
In My Opinion
As for when the sixth extinction takes place, only God knows.
If the Sixth Extinction results because of us humans are out of control, it will not be the first time we humans have engaged in deadly wars of destruction and extinctions based on recorded events in human history.
Whether the Sixth Extinction results from human folly or conditions we have no control over such as sunbursts, moon phases, etc. etc. it is not wise to fear what we cannot control.
The only fear we should indulge in is the fear of the Lord. If we follow his laws and precepts, we will have no reason to fear the loss of our lives and souls regardless of how or when the Sixth Extinction occurs.
The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. (Proverb 9:10 NIV)
Hopefully, we will wise up in the meantime about both practicing moderation which perhaps might slow down the present Sixth Extinction,
Then again, maybe we should discern the Ecclesiastes 7:14 verse that since God made both humans and planet, perhaps His plan just might be for us human managers, have been given free choice, is to allow us to engage in folly to speed up the present Sixth Extinction?

You Decide
Who should you vote for to represent your concerns about pollution and climate in the next election?
Does the candidate you choose have a proposal that is pragmatic economical or extreme, to reduce pollution or climate change?
Will their plan require every Nation on the planet to work and be involved or only the USA?
Will their plan provide wise or foolish management of our limited choices of energy resources?
Will the plan have a measurable effect or become a waste of time and resources being promoted to obtain taxpayers funding for power, or profit rather than meaningful results?
Are you personally a bad foolish manager or consumer helping to speed up the present Sixth Extinction?
Regards and good will blogging?
