King Solomon, Our Present Sixth World Extinction, Wisdom or Folly?

Should we discern the similarities information as evidence the Sixth World Extinction is now taking place, while the world squabbles on pettiness?

I visited the Chicago Museum of Science and Industry Exhibit titled, Extreme Ice, which “exhibit illustrating the immediacy of climate change and how it is altering our world, on March 23, 2017. American photographer James Balog captured thought-provoking images over a multi-year period that showcase the dramatic extent of melting glaciers around the world.”
It brought to mind the various blogging comments I have read debating the pro and cons of climate change over the years and information about the previous identified extinctions that have occurred on earth.
The Purpose of This Post
Is to link information from Extreme Ice Exhibit information, World Extinctions, and the Paris Accord to present ancient wisdom verses of King Solomon Proverb into consideration of the current scientific and political debates taking place in the world for readers consideration.
King Solomon
Excerpts Ecclesiastes Chapter One
1:7 All the streams flow into the sea, but the sea is not full, and to the place where the streams flow, there they will flow again.
1:10 Is there anything about which someone can say,
1:11 No one remembers the former events, nor will anyone remember the events that are yet to happen; they will not be remembered by the future generations.
1:31Therefore they shall eat the fruit of their own way,
And be filled to the full with their own fancies.
1:32   For the [l]turning away of the simple will slay them,
And the complacency of fools will destroy them;
What’s My Point?
If you read the brief explanations of the five world excitations in the Source Links below and the Exhibit, perhaps you might wonder, same as I am now, what is being predicted how the rapid effects in the world now taking place of ice melting will flood the seashore located cities and nations in this century.
For Example.
In each extinction the same elements are mentioned in various extremes to have caused the previous five extinctions.
“. Ice, sea levels, Co2, oxygen levels, suffocating, rapid climate change, acidified and stagnated, coral reefs, coal deposits, cataclysmic eruption, most enigmatic, no clear cause has been found, volcanic activity, asteroid impact.”
“Only a few dwindling species of ammonites survived. Today, the ammonites’ oldest surviving relative is the nautilus. Will it survive the sixth great extinction? “
How Does This Relate to King Solomon?
I am taking out of context the original meanings of the above Ecclesiastes verses to apply to global warming. You decide if my purpose for doing this is wise or foolish, or perhaps a valid reason to relate the meanings to the global warming controversies.
However, if you discern this verse ““Look at this! It is new!”? It was already done long ago, before our time,” to the five previous scientific identified extinctions of life on our planet, and consider all the above word examples to what you hear and read in news reports of current topics of migration. Works such as walls, melting glaciers, sea levels, perhaps you might want to consider the conclusion of King Solomon’s Ecclesiastes.
In My Opinion,
If you discern the rising impact and consequences of the rapid glaciers melting to what we are listening to the petty squabbles in today’s news.
For Example,
Border Walls to Control Migration
When the sea rises as predicted there will be a mass migration take place of the 50 percent of the world’s population presently living in cities and homes located near ocean bodies.
What to Do?
I believe the best advice is the advice I read in the Chicago Tribune Voice of the People today,
“Build the border wall with solar panels on the top. That will be an economic boom for the US and Mexico.”
Paris Accord vs. Economics
In a previous post titled, King Solomon, President Trump’s French Nose, Score Six, I explain the present lack of action taking place in the world because of economics.
What to Do?
The whole world needs to quit squabbling about petty matters and wars and wake up. There was a song titled, “Enjoy Yourself, Its Later Than You Think, which in my opinion coincides with King Solomon’s Ecclesiastes conclusion.,
What Else to Do?
In my opinion, Pray, Pray, Pray, for our world leaders to wake up from a comatose state and quit scrabbling on pettiness matters. ~
If Interested,
Read the Source Links Below.
You Decide.
If after reading, you discern the message of this post, wise or foolish?
Was my application of King Solomon’s Proverbs really out of context?
Is Roman History being verse adequacy describe today’s news, “Nero played his fiddle while Rome burnt?”
Will this Post result in the same words King Solomon wrote in Ecclesiastes 1:2 about Futility Illustrated from Nature?
“1:2 “Futile! Futile!” laments the Teacher, “Absolutely futile! Everything is futile!”
Regards and good will blogging.
