King Solomon, Shani Davis, Proverbial Wisdom

Another example why Proverbial Wisdom should be taught in all schools?

Sadly, world news reported a foolish statement, in my opinion, by an Olympian athlete about who should carry the flag at the opening ceremony.
Three thousand years ago, King Solomon offered advice to decide any issue that cannot be decided among people with different opinions.
King Solomon
The lot is cast into the pocket, but the verdict is wholly from Yahweh. (Proverb 16:33)
Excerpt
“Tell them to decide this issue yearly by drawing lots from the pocket of your robe, and let Yahweh decide for them. Since no man can know the outcome of a lot, the chancy process will be the will of Yahweh. (God)”
  I have seen something else under the sun:
The race is not to the swift
or the battle to the strong,
nor does food come to the wise
or wealth to the brilliant
or favor to the learned;
but time and chance happen to them all.
In My Opinion
The Olympian who made this statement may have voiced a personal sour grapes complaint, or was joking. The result is he may be judged a fool for the rest of his life. His statement will directly reflect on all Americans.
Wisdom needs to be taught is both private and secular schools. More so by a wise Sport Coach about good sportsman image and conduct.
What the World Needs Now in Addition to Love is Wisdom.
