King Solomon, A Wise Activist?

Is kneeling during the National Anthem Wise of Foolish?

The news in today’s Chicago Tribune is centered on pros and cons of  NFL players kneeling during the National Anthem.
This post is not about the pros and cons of the cause of the activist. It  is about the wise or foolish choice of location and timing of an  activist to express their political opinions or advance their cause.
For example, how can the player not offend the parents, friends, or siblings of a soldier who died in the service of their country. Or a veteran who serve(d) in the country under the flag that the National Anthem honors?
Especially if the activist never served in the armed forces and chose to kneel rather than stand while the honor guard soldiers are standing in the middle of the playing field displaying the USA flag.
King Solomon
There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under the heavens. (Ecclesiastes 3:1)
In My Opinion
A wise activist should strive to activate compassion and unity for their cause rather than  disdain and divisiveness.
The best time and place to effect change for a political cause in in a voting booth.
The best time and place to kneel to seek compassion for any cause in a church.
You Decide
Is kneeling during the National Anthem a wise or foolish time and place to seek unity and compassion for a political cause?
