King Solomon, A Lost Vote Slacker Wrecker

download (35)

“I won’t vote for either Clinton or Trump this election because…….”

In the Chicago Tribune, Voice of the People on June 9, 2016, a WWII veteran voiced his opinion and stated he will sadly not vote in this election.
“The reason that I am unable to vote in the forthcoming presidential election is that I must be true to my conscience and my self-respect…. because both of the candidates are ethically, morally and politically flawed and are unacceptable to be the leader of our great nation….and will pray or a leader to inspire me and all of us to vote.”
King Solomon
He who works in a half-hearted way, is brother to a wrecker. (Proverb, 18:9)
The one envisaged is slack and lazy in his business. He does not act as if he expected to be successful and his half-hearted unconvincing efforts are ruinous. He is a brother to a wrecker in a sense that although he does not ruin himself by wild insensate behavior which is devoid of self-interest and self-destructive, yet the end of his lethargy coincides with that of recklessness. (Proverbs Mc Kane)
A Slacker
Is a non-voter a slacker because he or she don’t like either candidate? Yes, because we are all part of a community whether we realize it or not. A slacker, by not being concerned with the issues of the community will allow small numbers to control the final outcome of the election.
In My Opinion,
Everyone who feels the same as this writer should consider just one issue which personally effects their opinion.
For example, Clinton stated she is for open borders and will grant amnesty for all illegal immigrants, while Trump wants to deport all of them.
Or, are we all better off now by the results of the people voted into office in the last election who stated their number one priority was jobs? While the numbers of people working are up, the wages being paid to the poor and middle class are down.

Or, perhaps being a veteran this post may inspire you to vote. HERE.
Or, etc. etc.
Don’t Be a Slacker Wrecker
Vote because it is your duty as a brother or sister in your community and nation. Both Clinton and Trump are the majority winners of the two political major parties. One is going to win and one is going to lose regardless of any personal opinions or conscious we may have about their character.
Then pray for whoever you chose. He or she, and our nation, will certainly need both your prayers as well as your vote.
Regards and goodwill blogging.
