What type of stories about our angers in life might interest God?

In the previous post I stated someone once said the reason God created us was because He loves to hear a good story. Will our story be pleasing to Him? If not, I suggested maybe we should begin to edit our lives to make our story be more pleasing to God.

But then, what type of stories about our anger might please, or even interest, rather than bore God.

Matthew 21:12-13 Jesus at the Temple

12 Jesus entered the temple courts and drove out all who were buying and selling there. He overturned the tables of the money changers and the benches of those selling doves. 13 “It is written,” he said to them, “‘My house will be called a house of prayer,’[a] but you are making it ‘a den of robbers.’[b]
King Solomon
Wrote numerous proverbs why it is not wise to become angry. I selected a few to explain my opinion why I surmise sometimes anger may be rightfully justified and perhaps was purposely  demonstrated by Jesus as in the above Bible verse. Some examples:
A gentle answer deflects anger, but harsh words make tempers flare. (Proverb 15:1 NLT)
Open criticism is better than hidden love. Well meant are the wounds made by a friend, but an enemy’s kisses are too much to bear.” (Proverbs 27:5, 6 )
“When a fool is irritated, he shows it immediately.” 12:16a
“It is intelligent to control your anger.” 19:11a
“Fools die for lack of sense.” 10:21b
A king’s wrath strikes terror like the roar of a lion; those who anger him forfeit their lives. (Proverb 20:2)
Conundrums to Consider
Bible Genesis 1:27 states God created human beings in his own image. Does that mean He purposely created us with the ability to become angry?. When is it wise to become angry about a cause in our lives? What would you surmise about God’s preferences for a good cause in your life to become angry that would please or be of interest to God when you tell him your story?
The New Testament Bible story teaches us to emulate Jesus. He demonstrated anger in the Temple.  Does this mean we have a good justification in our lives when to become angry and criticize a friend instead of hiding your love as stated in the above proverb. What is a wise method to criticize a friend or a foe who angers you?
Who Were the Money Changers In Ancient Israel?
In Ancient Times, i surmise it is someone who profits in business and uses his profits to gain power in his community. For example, the moneychangers in the Temple probably paid to sell their goods and paid someone in authority with power (King, High Priest, Roman Governor Pontius Pilate)    to allow them to sell in the Temple.
Who is a Money Changer in Our Modern Times?
Nothing is new under the Sun. Today’s moneychangers are still in power. In the USA, one percent of the population owns eighty percent of US assets. In the world 66 families own eighty percent of the worlds assets. Today’s Presidential debates are in essence mainly about voters anger with politicians who voters believe answer to the powerful moneychangers over voter’s interests.
In My Opinion
I surmise Jesus knew he was going to die when he destroyed the moneychangers tables in the Temple.  But it was not because of His lack of sense, He had a plan and purpose to die on the cross.
Pontius Pilate may have agreed to do the bidding of the powerful Temple moneychangers and allowed Jesus to be crucified to appease those in power iwho considered Jesus a threat to them.
What is My Point?
If you are angry for a just cause, be wise and keep control of your actions same as these two activists, Mahatma Gandhi or Martin Luther King Jr, and protest peacefully.
Change the word in the above Biblical Verse Matthew 21:12-13 from “house” to“Nation”……. and “money changers ” to “Washington Politicians.” ……. and consider before you vote.
Then do not get angry, get even and vote sensibly. Is what he or she is promising you make sense?
Who to vote for? You decide.
Win or Lose
If you ever become angry and attempt to win over injustice in your community for fellow humans created by God, your brothers and sisters, I surmise your story will please and interest God.
Regards and goodwill blogging.
