Which Type is Rioting? King Solomon Blog

Was the 80-year cycle of violence predicted in or was it predicted 3000 years ago?

The Chicago Tribune article titled: The Crisis of 2020 was predicted in 1991, reports a writer’s prediction of what we are now experiencing in 2020 with rioting and unrest of younger vs. older generation.

The Purpose of This Post

Is to relate ancient proverbs for an interested reader to decide which on the verses they might choose to be the root cause of the rioting and compare it to my opinion.

King Solomon – Proverbs Chapter 29 NIV

Whoever remains stiff-necked after many rebukes
    will suddenly be destroyed—without remedy.

When the righteous thrive, the people rejoice;
    when the wicked rule, the people groan.

A man who loves wisdom brings joy to his father,
    but a companion of prostitutes squanders his wealth.

By justice a king gives a country stability,
    but those who are greedy for[a] bribes tear it down.

Those who flatter their neighbors
    are spreading nets for their feet.

Evildoers are snared by their own sin,
    but the righteous shout for joy and are glad.

The righteous care about justice for the poor,
    but the wicked have no such concern.

Mockers stir up a city,
    but the wise turn away anger.

If a wise person goes to court with a fool,
    the fool rages and scoffs, and there is no peace.

10 The bloodthirsty hate a person of integrity
    and seek to kill the upright.

11 Fools give full vent to their rage,
    but the wise bring calm in the end.

12 If a ruler listens to lies,
    all his officials become wicked.

13 The poor and the oppressor have this in common:
    The Lord gives sight to the eyes of both.

14 If a king judges the poor with fairness,
    his throne will be established forever.

15 A rod and a reprimand impart wisdom,
    but a child left undisciplined disgraces its mother.

16 When the wicked thrive, so does sin,
    but the righteous will see their downfall.

17 Discipline your children, and they will give you peace;
    they will bring you the delights you desire.

18 Where there is no revelation, people cast off restraint;
    but blessed is the one who heeds wisdom’s instruction.

19 Servants cannot be corrected by mere words;
    though they understand, they will not respond.

20 Do you see someone who speaks in haste?
    There is more hope for a fool than for them.

21 A servant pampered from youth
    will turn out to be insolent.

22 An angry person stirs up conflict,
    and a hot-tempered person commits many sins.

23 Pride brings a person low,
    but the lowly in spirit gain honor.

24 The accomplices of thieves are their own enemies;
    they are put under oath and dare not testify.

25 Fear of man will prove to be a snare,
    but whoever trusts in the Lord is kept safe.

26 Many seek an audience with a ruler,
    but it is from the Lord that one gets justice.

27 The righteous detest the dishonest;
    the wicked detest the upright.

What’s My Point?

Depending on your age and your political opinions, after reading the above you might believe either the Democrat of Republicans are either the righteous or the wicked being referred to in the Chapter who are ‘groaning.’

My point however is not the who to blame, but what to blame for people to believe that it is righteous or wicked to riot, destroy innocent businesses and livelihood to voice their anger about injustice in our culture.

In other words, instead of voicing their anger (groaning in the proverb) in an upright way by voting out who they perceive as the wicked leaders, they action became wicked instead of righteous and now the innocent victims are groaning.

In My Opinion,

The root cause is the majority of the looters went to public schools and were never taught to believe in God who will be the final judge in everyone’s lives.

If you disagree with my opinion, consider this proof. In a previous post I stated that there are no statistics to compare the per capita of convicted prisoners as to whether they attended a religious school or a secular public school.

If my opinion is correct, the root cause of the US riots is rooted in the failure of the American society to allow parents school choice or school vouchers to be taught the Biblical wisdom of life that leads to understanding real love for themselves, their families and their communities.

You Decide

Which of the above verses is the root cause that leads to either righteous or wickedness in the lives of our communities?

Which verse do we believe is the root cause to believe it is righteous to destroy innocent people’s property and businesses because of injustice rather than to vote out the leaders they perceive is at fault for allowing the injustice to continue?

Is the 80-year prediction a repeat prediction made 3000 years ago proven true by this Bible verse and Groundhog Day movie?

The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun
