King Solomon Blog, Reasons for Trump’s Tooting Lips?

Is there a reason why President Trump lips keep tooting his own horn?

Yesterday’s Chicago Tribune three columnists articles commented their opinions that President Trump lacks humility with his remarks about himself.
The Purpose of This Post
Is to compare King Solomon’s proverbial advice in hopes of finding a solution rather than wasting valuable time in our Nation reading and listening to non-constructive criticism, complains, and whining by both legislators and news or entertainment media.
King Solomon
Let someone else praise you, and not your own mouth; an outsider, and not your own lips. (Proverb 27:2)
In the mouth of the foolish is a rod of pride: but the lips of the wise shall preserve them. (Proverb 14:3)
Even a fool, when he holdeth his peace, is counted wise: and he that shuttled his lips is esteemed a man of understanding. (Proverb 17:28)
If you listen to constructive criticism,
you will be at home among the wise (Proverb 15:31)

Constructive criticism definition
A recommended set of instructions that aims to collaboratively improve the overall quality of a product or service. (google)
What’s My Point?
In ancient times, it was not uncommon to beat someone with a rod if they criticized a leader.
However, times changed when our Nation’s founders valued free speech as a Right in order to live in freedom.
Anyone who is not a fool, regardless of their personal opinions, must certainly recognize that President Trump has been relentlessly criticized since day one of his Presidency. Not only by political opponents, the press, TV late night programs or daytime talk shows.
In a private business meeting, anyone who criticizes the boss’s decisions relentlessly will not be tolerated and might even be fired on the spot. The difference in private business and public office is that in business you will or should only suggest a constructive criticism which includes the word ‘collaboration. ‘Or in other words, you work as a team to solve problems to improve products or services.
Public legislators use free speech without fear to criticize instead of collaborate with political opponents because while in office they are for the most part protected from libel lawsuits.
Sadly, politicians, as well as news media actually have an incentive to profit by criticizing t political r opponents to remain in office providing, they can persuade voters or readers to agree with their opinions.
My point is if you read the three columnists’ opinions, none of their criticisms offer any suggestions or collaboration on improving the product or services President Trump is now confronted with during his term in office.
In My Opinion
President Trump appears to me to ‘toot his own horn instead of being humble because he has no other choice.  Also, it is his right of free speech., which sadly appears many of his responses are to defend himself and his administration from the relentless personal criticisms being tooted at or about him.
For example, perhaps President Trump refers to coronavirus as ’Chinese virus’ ‘in response to the reports he is hearing that China media is claiming the source of the virus were US troops.
If Trump’s detractors used the same private business methods of constructive criticism in a spirit and manner of collaboration, a lot of time, energy, words, and actions could instead be directed to on how to make our Nation becoming a better place?
As for the present pandemic, instead of criticizing what should have been done, we should be planning how to handle the next pandemic based on what we are now experiencing.
For example, was it smart to outsource manufacturing all the items required for medical ventilators and 90 percent of US medicines now facing critical shortages because of the coronavirus pandemic?
Rather than legislators criticizing what should have been done or complaining about shortages or sped in obtaining products or services.  they should be collaborating and making plans to provide the means for critical items that must be manufactured in the USA for the next pandemic or crisis
For example, are all critical parts in case of need for military equipment being manufactured in part in the USA?

You Decide
Would our Nation be a better place if everyone who feels the urge to express their Rights of Free Speech would offer constructive criticism on handling our Nation’s present coronavirus crisis.
If what Trump critics did collaborate instead of criticize, perhaps their own product or services will prevent readers and viewers from considering them to fit the description be what King Solomon described in the above Proverb 17:28.
Is free speech really free when it wastes time of listeners or the time could have been used in a more constructive and collaborative means to accomplish something of value to improve a product or service?
Are wise voters taking notes on how politicians are collaborating, and/or complaining, criticizing without offering their constructive suggestions needed both now and in the future?
Regards and goodwill blogging.
