Is prayer the only hope left to end the fiery political hatred and/or slander in the USA?
After reading today’s news about all the current political hatred taking place based on politicians fighting fire with fire with fire by trading accusations of each other’s violations to the Constitution, ….and then being reminded of what Jesus Christ taught Christians to pray for their enemies…. the only suggestion I can make is …. Now is the time to pray for the USA.

fight fire with fire. phrase [VERB inflects] If you fight fire with fire, you deal with people attacking or threatening you by using similar methods to the ones that they are using. The only way they can deal with crime is to fight fire with fire.

What’s My Point?
The political divide in the USA between the Democrats and Republicans ever since President Trump won the 2016 election is digressing into a state of unequivocal hatred and/or slander.
There are both short- and long-term consequences when hatred becomes a fiery fire to destroy or waste opportunities, whether already accomplished or possibilities for the future in the USA.
One way to put out a fire is to douse it with water which serves to cut off the oxygen, the ingredient that helps fuel the fire.
The words probably most said when someone is threatened being engulfed in flames is “God help me.”
In My Opinion
Now is the time to pray for the USA.
What the world needs now in addition to love is wisdom. We are the masters of our own disasters.

You Decide
Would both Democrats and Republicans ever sit side by side and ask for divine guidance for the problems causing the present divisions and hatred in the USA?
Or will continued retaliation by blowing more political accusations (oxygen or hot air) to add more fuel to the fiery hatred in the news.
