King Solomon Proverbs Chapter One
1 The proverbs of Solomon the son of David, king of Israel;
2 To know wisdom and instruction; to perceive the words of understanding;
3 To receive the instruction of wisdom, justice, and judgment, and equity;
4 To give subtilty to the simple, to the young man knowledge and discretion.
5 A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels:
6 To understand a proverb, and the interpretation; the words of the wise, and their dark sayings.
What’s My Point?
We are all being bombarded with political adds on TV, Radio, Newspapers, Posters, etc. The majority are “dark sayings” accusations, empty suit political promises of gifts without explanations, etc. etc.
So how is one supposed to understand and discern wisely without spending numerous tedious hours to check out each candidate, their qualifications, records, etc. etc.
In My Opinion
I believe the following Chicago Tribune Editorial Cartoon is the one picture worth “ten thousand words” that simply explains what the upcoming November 6 election is all about.
