Would King Solomon kiss the lips of Comey, Clinton, Obama, Trump, or any politician in Washington, or yours or my lips?
After reading two Chicago Tribune articles today, and a comment made on a previous post, I believe the words of an ordinary father best answer what we ordinary citizens need to keep in mind about all the current news coming out of Washington of various politicians and political parties how to judge the various contradictory statements about current and previous Washington events.
First Article- An ordinary man but a superhero of a dad.
A tribute to an ordinary father included a quote to his son.
“But don’t be quick to judge. People have secrets. We are all piles of contradictions.”
Second Article – People of Clinton inquiry reveals Obama’s silky lie.
John Kass article used the term “silky lies,” which brought to my mind an ancient proverb. Seems to me that lying has always been a problem of us mere mortals. This proverb implies how lies are personal affronts. So personal that King Solomon related to a kiss, a personal poetic message one relays from one human, and even animals, relay sign of how they value each other.
King Solomon
An honest answer is like a kiss on the lips. (Proverb 24:26)
Every man shall kiss his lips that giveth a right answer. Either as a witness to a question put to him in court, to which he answers aptly and uprightly; or rather as a judge, who, having heard a cause, answers and gives his opinion of it faithfully, and pronounces a righteous sentence; everyone will love and respect him, and hearken to him and obey him; both affection and obedience are signified by a kiss; (Gils Bible Exposition HERE)
In My Opinion
Whether a lie is Silky”, suave or ingratiating as John Kass implies was made by Obama, or Blustery and obvious as Trumps, or whatever he implied about Comey and Clinton, I doubt King Solomon would have judged their kisses on the lips of us ordinary citizens to be honest.

You Decide
Which politician’s or human kisses should you consider to honest unadornments on your lips.
Or do you believe the words of the wise ordinary father that all of Washington politicians are all “piles of contradictions.” Including ourselves.
Would the world be a better place, less contradictory, if we all were honest and truthful with each other?
Moral of This Post?
A lie is a lie, is a lie, is a lie, regardless whether it is a silky, white, or obvious., and every lie or honest reply was given to another is a personal kiss from the lips of one to another.
Regards and good will blogging.
