By all the art and cunning, wisdom and knowledge of man, that he can attain unto; whatever he, in the vanity of his mind, may find fault with in the works of God, either of nature of providence, and which he may call crooked, it is not in his power to make them straight, or to mend them; (Source HERE)
In My Opinion
I do not know anything more about this sad burden than the news articles.
The Ecclesiastes verse can be interpreted to apply to every situation that comes about once a sin against God’s laws has been committed.
Regardless of who sinned, If everyone involved had been wise and chose to read and follow the teaching and laws of God in the Bible, we would not now be put in in a position to have to try to straighten what cannot be mended, or counted as wanted.
