Is Covid-19 Our Worlds Timeout? King Solomon Blog

The Chicago Tribune columnist article titled: An Orthodox Easter that’s unlike any other, reported this Easter, “there isn’t much lamb roasting for Easter going on.”

Why?
The Purpose of This Post
Is to relate an ancient proverb along with two contemporary psychological reasons for the time out we are now experiencing to either a behavior modification or a parenting form of discipline.
King Solomon
“God will bring into judgment
both the righteous and the wicked,
for there will be a time for every activity,
a time to judge every deed.” (Ecclesiastes 3:17)
If you see the oppression of the poor, and the violent perversion of justice and righteousness in a province, do not marvel at the matter; for high official watches over high official, and higher officials are over them. (Ecclesiastes 5:9)
What’s My Point?
If we discern and relate the present result of the pandemic, the entire world is now experiencing what is similar to a mandatory time out.
And if we discern some of the results of what is not taking place.
For example;
Are we using and burning less gasoline to reduce pollution?
Are hospitals prioritizing to serve the sick instead of abortion?
Has there been a reduction in crimes, killings, or wars taking place in the USA and World as a result of the pandemic?
Can the choice of wearing masks be compared or related to a sign of humility and recognition that we humans are not entirely in control of our universe?
Etc. etc.
My point is not to imply that God has judged that He has become impatient or fed up with our behavior and the pandemic reason is to send a message for us to modify our behavior  same as a parent might do to discipline a child.
In My Opinion
All of the above examples can be discerned to relate that the present pandemic is similar to a time out in our lives being mandated to a similar a need to modify our behavior by a higher authority.
Then again, for believers of faith in a God, have we not been taught that God is our Creator in a similar way as a parent?
Then again, if it was not God that has not judged us and caused the pandemic, should we just point fingers like a child does to blame someone else for us having to spend time during our time out.
Or should we spend our timeout to discern the pandemic to be a Spiritual or Secular clue to help us discrn what might be the reasons for the pandemic and change to differentiate our wise or foolish behaviors accordingly?

Is the timing of and meaning of Easter coincidental to the timing and meaning of the Covid-19 time our quarantine?
Easter
the most important and oldest festival of the Christian Church, celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ and held (in the Western Church) between March 21 and April 25, on the first Sunday after the first full moon following the northern spring equinox. (Google)

You Decide
King Solomon wrote the above proverbs 3000 years ago and each new generation has either studied and abided by his wisdom or repeated the same follies of past generations.
Are the reasons for the World Coronavirus Pandemic similar to a Physiological or Spiritual Timeout?
Regards and goodwill blogging.
