The USA CDC agency, Center for Disease Control, was budgeted 11 billion dollars in 2019 to control diseases. Yet, news media and politicians either ignore or never promote the available medical information to warn the public how to prevent themselves or family members from obtaining debilitating diseases.
For example,
The Chicago Tribune reported two articles about recreational marijuana that will become available for legal sale in Illinois on January 1, 2020. One article informed the locations and provided answers to 13 questions to help promote information for potential buyers.
The other article warned illegal immigrants that use of recreational marijuana might lead to deportation or prevent them from obtaining citizenship when and if amnesty is granted in the future.
However, the Chicago Tribune never warned readers of the medical information available to them from the ‘secreted’ CDC taxpayer funded health agency that explains the debilitating health effects users will subject themselves by using recreational marijuana
The Purpose of This Post
Is to provide the ‘secreted’ information to help provide wisdom, knowledge and understanding that news media and politicians will not, for some reason, inform us about.
For example, 1 in 6 users under 21 and 1 in 10 users will become addicted to using recreational marijuana and are likely to follow a path to more potent drugs over time such as heroin, etc. etc.,

in short, this is the sum of all human knowledge and wisdom, attained to in the highest degree; instead of making men comfortable and happy, it is found to be mere vanity, to cause vexation and disquietude of mind, and to promote grief and sorrow. There is indeed wisdom and knowledge opposite to this, and infinitely more excellent, and which, the more it is increased, the more joy and comfort it brings; and this is wisdom in the hidden part; a spiritual and experimental knowledge of Christ, and of God in Christ, and of divine and evangelical truths; but short of this knowledge there is no true peace, comfort, and happiness.
What’s My Point?
Would it not make more logical common sense to at the very least to warn users, same as was finally done with cigarettes, of the truth about using recreational marijuana?
For example, how it poses medical risks of ADDICTION, BRAIN HEALTH, CANCER, CHRONIC PAIN, HEART HEALTH, LUNG HEALTH, MENTAL HEALTH, POISONING, RISK OF USING OTHER DRUGS.
In other words, it is not wise to use recreational marijuana because of the truth. The truth every doctor will tell anyone interested in preventing themselves or their loved ones from incurring a health risk that leads to any or all of the above medical risks.
In My Opinion
King Solomon warned of the madness and folly he observed of people who chase the wind in life to obtain pleasure in life that leads to eventual sadness and sorrow instead of joy and happiness.
He also commented that “For with much wisdom comes much sorrow, and as knowledge grows, grief increases.”
For it is truly sad to understand that the USA budget’s 11 billion dollars a year to control diseases, many that could be prevented, if only we would wise up by being informed by responsible and dutiful news medial and/or politicians..
As for why the Chicago Tribune reports all kind of information about how to obtain or warn illegal immigrants, and not provide any information or warning their readers of the debilitating effects of the use of recreational marijuana that is medically proven by the CDC, is beyond my comprehension.
