…in public places versus the First Amendment Rights?
The Chicago Tribune article titled, City ban on evangelizing by the Bean put on trial, reported the lawsuit by Wheaton College students being banned from gathering signatures in a public place.
The Purpose of This Post
Is to question the difference between the above three words in relation to the First Amendment Rights of freedom of religion and free speech.
Definitions – Merriam Webster
proselytism
1: the act of becoming or condition of being a proselyte : CONVERSION
2: the act or process of proselytizing

What’s My Point?
The Chicago Tribune article use two words, proselytism and evangelism which appear to be two different definitions of the lawsuit.
My point is to wonder how any court in the USA can make a decision on this matter when the Supreme Court or Congress has never provided a legal definition of the word religion.
In My Opinion
This lawsuit should be of concern to all believers of any religious faith.
When I visit this area in Chicago, there are different occasions when various booths are set up to advertise products.
Frankly, all three words are different forms of advertising, in my opinion.
And of all the products most needed in Chicago in relation to the gun violence, what is needed most is some old time religious teaching and school vouchers to affect the present violent culture in relation to the Ten Commandments, Especially “Thou shalt not Kill,” “Thou shall not covet the neighbors goods,” and Wisdom Proverbs.
