King Solomon, Wisdom of Fear, Post Eight

Is fear healthy or unhealthy?

In the Previous Post,
I stated I would summarize this series and end with a profound question, in my opinion,
The Purpose of This Post
Is to summarize the previous posts about fear of the Lord being the beginning of wisdom.
King Solomon
The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. (King Solomon Proverb 9:10)
Wisdom offers you long life, as well as wealth and honor.
Above all else, guard your heart for everything you do flows from it. (Proverb 4:23)
A wise man knows fear and avoids harm, but a fool is impetuous and self-assured.” (Proverb, 14:16)
What do people gain from all their labors
at which they toil under the sun? (Ecclesiastes 1:2-3)
The wealth of the rich is their fortified city, but poverty is the ruin of the poor. (Proverb 10:15)
I said to myself, “God will bring into judgment both the righteous and the wicked, for there will be a time for every activity, a time to judge every deed.” (Ecclesiastes 3:17)
What’s My Point?
In life, we are forced to make many choices. Wisdom of Fear is understanding the difference between healthy choice than will lead to advance in life.
The opposite is to choose an unhealthy choice which can lead to debilitate or retreat in life. This path choice may lead to a retreat of health, wealth, or joy in life.
Religious instruction helps define how sin leads to retreat, not only in life on earth but eternal life.
A holistic or Spiritual belief in wisdom of fear and trust will help provide courage in hearts to overcome fears in life.
Secular laws are instructions that use fear of punishment for lawbreakers.
However, anyone who reads the news understands how ineffective enforcement of laws will never erase or overcome fear in life or achieve justice for those harmed by lawbreakers.
Religious beliefs trust God’s will judge every deed in time. While love is the greatest motivation to love thy neighbor as thyself, fear will serve to remind us that a wise man will know fear to avoid harm in both this life and the next.
In My Opinion
Wisdom and love are intertwined blessings that lead to joy in life.
Without wisdom to understand true love, the path to joy can be manipulated but intriguers throughout history.
“Woodrow Wilson once said, “Fear God and you need not be afraid of anyone else.”
