King Solomon, Why USA Lacks Health Wisdom?



What is the biggest reason for lack of health wisdom in the USA and what simple remedy in needed?

The Chicago Tribune article titled, Study: Some of the deadliest cancers poorly funded because of “stigma” attached to lower funding, reported one clue reason why so many people die unnecessarily in the USA.
The Purpose of This Post
Is to explain the reason and suggest a clue using a simple most basic remedy sadly needed and lacking in the USA. That remedy is Wisdom made available from previous generations and their experiences date back to ancient times.
King Solomon Proverbs Purpose and Theme  
2 for gaining wisdom and instruction;
    for understanding words of insight;
3 for receiving instruction in prudent behavior,
    doing what is right and just and fair;
4 for giving prudence to those who are simple,[a]
    knowledge and discretion to the young—
5 let the wise listen and add to their learning,
    and let the discerning get guidance—
6 for understanding proverbs and parables,
    the sayings and riddles of the wise.
7 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge,
    but fools[c] despise wisdom and instruction.  (Chapter 1:2-6 NIV)
Long life is in her (Wisdom’s) right hand; in her left hand are riches and honor. (Proverb 3:16)
What’s My Point?
Because the above Proverbs are in the Bible, it is not lawful for government to teach the above wisdom proverbs in USA public schools according to the Supreme Court.
Private news sources are subject to personal opinions, bias, policies, etc. etc. News sources rarely report health issues because other types of issues are more profitable when the health issue becomes sensational and out of control instead of health prevention issues.
“Absolutely nobody reads a newspaper searching for the goodness of humanity. Dirty laundry sells papers.”
Then again, savvy marketers pay to advertise in new sources. Don’t want to upset them or lose advertising revenues?
My point being that the USA is subject to information that may or may not be health wise or factual because the USA government does not make use of the potential basic powers to promote health wisdom and/or may not teach proverbial wisdom in public schools.
We need a clue what to do.
In other words, citizens need wise health information instructions to obtain, understanding, and knowledge needed to make wise discernment of individual choices and consequences so as to avoid risks resultant from making foolish health choices and lifestyles.
The Chicago Tribune article states this opinion which provided the needed clue.”
…” said the study was interesting but he questioned the stigma is the core reason for the lower funding reason, He said a number of factors, including public awareness, likely contribute.”
In My Opinion,
One core reason for lack of health wisdom in the USA is because government fails to provide its citizens in the form of public awareness in order for citizens to understand and gain factual health knowledge available from public and private funded medical studies.
For example, smoking is medically proven to cause lung cancer and all kinds of rules and regulations have been made to prevent the sale of cigarettes to minors. Yet everyone knows that minors will somehow circumvent every rule and regulation because when we are young, we are more apt to be fools to believe we are invincible and believe: “It won’t happen to me, it happens to someone else.” other people.
We also know, that savvy market people will make all kinds of claims for their products. For example, recreational marijuana is now being claimed to achieve all kinds of wonderous effects, while at the same time, medical proof exists of the harmful effects like smoking cigarettes.
What’s My Remedy?
If you check into the hodgepodge of how various government agencies all have separate or individual budgets to pay tax funds to provide public awareness, it is mind boggling.
To acquire any wisdom, understanding and knowledge of facts are required.
Since the government controls licensing for news services using airwaves, they should mandate them to provide free broadcast time to present public awareness that will hopefully result to wise up its citizens to factual proven medical studies to wise them up to the wisdom and folly of making foolish health choices.
Again, how can citizens ever wise up if they do not have understanding and knowledge of the what is the truth about the hazards they will encounter when we either listen to market hype, false claims, or “puffed” by savvy marketers, instead of the health consequences folly of their choices proven by medical studies.
 Better Yet
Allow school vouchers so parents can afford to choose private schools to teach their children both practical and spiritual wisdom
Sadly,
Many USA fools pay all their lives into Social Security and Medicare when they reach 65, but will die young before they obtain the benefits because of foolish health choices.
And if “Medicare for All” ever results, many fools will pay higher taxes all their lives to subsidize medical costs for people who will make foolish health choices before they reach the present 65-year-old Medicare requirements.
