Wise, foolish, suitable, or convoluted?
The Chicago Tribune article on May 12 titled, Sex Strike, reported Alyssa Milano, “got people riled up on social media with a tweet calling for women to join her in a sex strike to protest strict abortion passed by Republican-controlled legislators.”
The Purpose of This Post
Is to wholeheartedly agree with Alyssa except to re-focus the strike to concur with King Solomon ‘s wisdom advice.
King Solomon
To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
2 A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; (Ecclesiastes 3:1-2)
Daughters of Jerusalem, I charge you: Do not arouse or awaken love until it so desires. (Song of Songs 8:4)
What’s My Point?
In a previous post tilled, King Solomon, God’s Wisdom and Order and Abortion? related God’s Wisdom and Order to Abortion.
King Solomon’s advice was to for women to wait until marriage before sex. This would eliminate the need for the highest statistic of women who seek abortions. Married women only account for 15 percent of all abortions according to the CDC, USA Center for Disease Control/
In other words, if Alyssa’s strike was directed toward unmarried women, it would be wise advice to greatly reduce abortions according to God’s Wisdom and Order and King Solomon’s advice of the suitable time in life for a child to be born and responsibilities associated with all of God’s creations who engage in sex.
In My Opinion
Alyssa sex strike is wise but convoluted.
