There is, or there is not, an illegal immigration problem in the USA?
The Chicago Tribune article titled, Trump Sanctuary City Idea Could Help Migrants Stay in US, reported various viewpoints of sending illegal migrants to sanctuary cities instead of border cities.
The Purpose of This Post
Is to relate his idea to the idiom, “Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is,”stated as follows:
“You can tell someone to Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is as a rude derogatory gesture indicating that their speech is Nonsense or you can Invite and Inspire healthy competition for someone to prove/or Instill their self-worth.”

What’s My Point?
The unfairness of border States having to bear the brunt of illegal immigration. Coupled with one half of the population who support open borders but do not share the burden now have an opportunity to prove whether or not they are willing to “put their money where their mouths are.”
Unless of course they are hypocrites or speak with, “a deceitful mouth, and perverse lips.”
The illegal immigrant problem has been ignored by politicians for over 33 years. In 1986 President Reagan agree to amnesty for 2-1/2 million illegal aliens when in time wound up being over 4 million. His promise was that illegal amnesty would be controlled by making it illegal for employers to hire illegal immigrants. Based on the present estimate that since that time, there are presently anywhere from 11 million to 40 million illegal immigrants now wandering around the USA.
In other words, his plan failed. Now 33 years later, politicians cannot agree how to enforce illegal immigration laws.
In My Opinion
What is needed is a method to either change the immigration laws or for all the politicians of communities to believe in open borders to request that the overflow of illegal immigrants be sent to their communities and care until their application for asylum is heard and decided.
I understand the current waiting period is approximately eight years. What to do if the immigrants have a child born to anchor the USA to become financially responsible is beyond my conception.
In other words, President Trump will no longer be considered a villain for attempting to enforce illegal immigration as prescribed by Congress. Also, it is an opportunity for all supporters of illegal immigration to “put their money where their mouth is,” and volunteer to transport, find housing, and support the immigrants in the interim.
