King Solomon, Hog Farmers vs. China Tariffs

Is President Trump statement “trade wars is good” being proven factual on hog farming in the USA?

Most people do not know that China owns a major portion of pork producers in the USA.

Environmentalists are probably ecstatic about reducing hog production in the USA according to this link.
Pork and Heart Disease
The 2015 Dietary Guidelines for Americans recommend consuming less than 10 percent of your daily calories from saturated fat. That means skipping high-fat pork options, like sausage, bacon, and spareribs — and thinking lean.
King Solomon
 “It’s no good, it’s no good!” says the buyer– then goes off and boasts about the purchase. (Proverb 20:14 NIV)
When he comes to the shop of the seller, or to market to buy goods, he undervalues them, says they are not so good as they should be, nor so cheap as he can buy them at;
but when he is gone his way, then he boasteth; after he has brought the seller to as low a price as he can, and has bought the goods, and gone away with them, and got home among his friends; then he boasts what a bargain he has bought, how good the commodity is, how he has been too many for the seller, and has outwitted him; (Excerpt Gils HERE)
In My Opinion
If you take a look at the list of the top 10 products being exported from China to the USA, there is nothing that cannot be manufactured in the USA.
We will be hearing al lot of media hype how the USA will lose out in a trade war in China. However, in the long run, we will be much better off not having the majority of consumer  products they now export to the USA.
For example, ask any teacher what she thinks about kids in school with cell phones and how much time the waste.
In other words, when China retaliate with tariffs, even though they are the biggest benifactors of the trade imbalances, they are acting like the buyer in the above King Solomon proverb. They know the USA mass media will arlam everyone in the USA “what a bad deal trade tariffs will be for the USA, and boast among themselves, “he has outwitted him.
And China has indeed outwitted Clinton’s trade negotiators based on the huge trade imbalances China now has with the USA. (HER#)
Trump is right, “trade wars is good” in the long run for the USA, in my opinion.
