“Cook County voters say yes to legalizing marijuana for recreational use.”
The vote tally was 63 percent for, 37 against.
In previous posts, I predicted the referendum would pass.

What’s My Point?
There is a difference in wisdom and intelligence. Having a high IQ does not necessarily make a person wise. The above proverb points to one aspect of wisdom being understanding that using drugs harms their bodies, brains, lungs, body, etc.etc.
Drivers high on pot may cause accidental harm to both themselves and innocent victims.

- Intelligence. I know fools with masters degrees and Ph.Ds. Some of them teach in universities and have written books. Conversely, I know wise people who never graduated from high school and a few who can’t read. (Source michaelhyatt)
In My Opinion,
Based on the wisdom being the result of understanding, the referendum voter tally may indicate the percentage of voters who might have made a foolish choice in Cook County.
You Decide
Is my understanding and opinion on this issue wise or foolish?
Do you believe that voters who voted yes but will never use recreational marijuana do not understand the issue of safety on roads, or do not care what fools do to themselves, or their community?
