King Solomon, 50th Wedding Anniversary Gotcha Wisdom Advice?

What is the wisest thing to do on your 50th Wedding Anniversary?

King Solomon
Let them be yours alone And not for strangers with you. 18 Let your fountain be blessed, And rejoice in the wife of your youth. As a loving hind and a graceful doe, Let her breasts satisfy you at all times; Be exhilarated always with her love. (Proverbs 5:17-19)
What’s My Point?
Last year, my wife and I celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary. On that day, I remembered the advice given me as a young man when I attended another couple’s 50th anniversary long ago..
I was in Hawaii to celebrate a friend of my wife’s parents 50th wedding anniversary. Not knowing the husband at all, when introduced, I politely thanked him for inviting us and asked him what was his secret for being married 50 years?
He replied good naturedly. “It’s no secret young man. Just do what I did.”
“What did you do?” I asked.
“On your 25th anniversary, take your wife to Hawaii to celebrate.” He replied and then paused.
“Yes, and then what?” I asked curiously.
“Then on your 50th anniversary, go back to Hawaii,………and pick her up.”
In Other Words
A 50th wedding anniversary is a special time in life. It is a time for joyous weeping, laughing, even mourning all the good times gone by, and hopefully still being able to dance at your party.
a time to weep, and a time to laugh;
a time to mourn, and a time to dance; (Ecclesiastes 3:4)
