Will the 2020 election determine how much sooner these two programs end?
The Chicago Tribune article titled: What Others Are Saying, reported the dates when these two entitlement programs funds will be depleted which are projected to be 2026 and 2034.
The Purpose of This Post
Is to wonder if the Progressives running for election who are promising more government programs will present prudent plans before the election. How will they propose to fund everything they are now promising with actual facts and figures? Or are thy empty suit promises.
Definition of prudence (Merriam-Webster)
1: the ability to govern and discipline oneself by the use of reason
2: sagacity or shrewdness in the management of affairs
3: skill and good judgment in the use of resources
4: caution or circumspection as to danger or risk
King Solomon
The prudent see danger and take refuge, but the simple keep going and pay the penalty. (Proverb 22:3)
Clouds and wind and no rain, a man who boasts about a non-existent gift. (Proverb 25:14)
Do not make a habit of striking hands, of going surety for debts. If you have no resources to settle them, why should your bed be taken from under you! (Proverbs 22:25, 26)
What’s My Point?
The USA National Debt has increased to 23 Trillion dollars, the projected funds for Social Security and Medicare are soon to be depleted are based on prudent forecast estimates.
My point is will voters be presented by both political parties with viable prudent funding solutions for their plans to control the continual rise of the National Debt?
Or will the USA financial boat sink in near future if another batch of empty suit politician are either elected or re-elected?
In My Opinion
Proverbs are said to be doom and gloom wisdom warnings. However, wisdom it is also described to be: “Wisdom is the quality that keeps you from getting into situations where you need it.”
The song title, Enjoy Yourself, its later than you think, is based on proverbial advice.
Whether you are and optimist or a pessimist, wise or foolish, prudent or reckless, Democrat or Republican, Conservatist or Progressive, there is one thing that history has proven over and over again since the beginning of time, the best things in life are free.
The only exception is if you enjoy living in a tent and know how to survive in city streets or on the wilderness which unfortunately not many Americans know or have been trained to do even though the rate of homelessness in America is continuing to rise.
And if you are old or sick, it is a lot harder for you to sleep on a hard surface, and see and chase after animals in the forest.
As for life expectancy statistics, when Medicare and Medicaid ends, just watch them years plummet down in the foreseeable future.

You Decide
In this coming election, will you vote for another empty suit politician who “boasts about a non-existent gift”
Or will you demand to know how he will fund his or her promises before you vote?
Is the motto of this blog based on a wise or foolish proverbial prudent observation of contemporary times?
What the world needs now in addition to love is wisdom. We are the masters of our own disasters.
Regards and goodwill blogging
