Is the referendum question on the ballot a wise sensible healthful question, or a deceitful lie, oxymoron, or mendacious question?
The Chicago Tribune article titled, Beyond the Candidates on this years ballot – Referendum questions to expect in Chicago and Cook County,includes the following phrasing of the question to be decided by voters about legalized recreational marijuana.
Referendum Question:
“In the event marijuana is legalized, should the city of Chicago appropriate revenue from the sale of marijuana to increase funding for Chicago Public Schools and for mental health services?”
The Purpose of this Post
To discern the wisdom of the word phrasing of the referendum question, in my opinion.

What’s My Point?
The phrasing of the referendum question may give a voter a warm fuzzy feeling to vote to approve the referendum. When in fact, voting to approve the referendum is helping to shorten the lives of every member in his community that decides to indulge in recreational marijuana according to the CDC, the USA Center of Disease Control.
Also will increase auto deaths and collisions, and result in marijuana to become more accessible to juveniles.
In My Opinion
The phrasing of the question is a deceitful, oxymoron, mendacious presentation written to fool voters.

Did the referendum question phrasing seduce you to approve for your community to increase a major way to promote education and mental health, or will it promote the opposite effect on students and users of recreational marijuana?
Will our wise Illinois Legislators approve recreational marijuana based on the results of this “Honest” referendum, or will they be silenced according to King Solomon’s proverb. Incidentally, Illinois is a State that is over 100 billion dollars in debt, and has a recent history of three governors being jailed?
Will approval of recreational marijuana result in Illinois becoming a “Paradise” of wisdom or folly?
