Why has USA life expectancy dropped in 2015?
The Chicago Tribune article on December 9, 2015 reports detailed explanations. It brought to mind my previous posts that I related to King Solomon wisdom proverbs and questions.

Are the recent and increasing State legislation approval of recreational drugs among their constituents. folly?
Is the recent unexpected jump in mortality rates among white middle aged Americans jump it   indication of an increase in despair among Americans.?
Is a reduced life expectancy for drug users in return for recreational drugs an indication of wisdom or folly in our nation?
King Solomon
Give alcohol to a man who is going to die, and wine to those who are sad, that they may drink and forget their poverty, and remember their misery no more. (Proverbs 31:6, 7)
Causes for Use of Drugs of Despair
Perhaps caused by personal economics. For example, a person’s lack of opportunity to obtain livable wage jobs. Imagine your despair if you are told you are losing your job because of outsourcing or other reason which may drown hopes and dreams.
Yes, there are also numerous social and health reasons which lead to despair, too numerous for a post.
You Decide
Is the growing use of drugs of despair a sign of poverty of both our people and our nation and a need to   forget our misery?
Or, is it a sign of folly for our excessive need for recreation in our lives and nation?
Or, is it a sign of lessening moral and/or pragmatic wisdom to guide our lives and nation?
In My Opinion
What the world needs now in addition to love is wisdom.
Regards and goodwill blogging.
