King Solomon’s Advice on Making Choices

We all have to make many choices every day in life. Some are easy to make quickly like the above sign to remove your shoes . Some require more time and even anguish on our part before we decide what we believe the best or right path to take. Regardless of any choice we make, there are consequences in every choice.
On these more difficult type decisions, how do we know if we have made the right choice? What symptoms may occur to our spiritual, mental, and physical being to relieve our anguish after we decide?

In a novel excerpt, I surmised what King Solomon may have advised the Queen of Sheba based on his proverbs. The novel is a contemporary application of a story form to promote understanding of proverbs and ancient wise sayings in relation to our modern times.
Excerpt
“Bilqis, as I said, we must all make choices in our life. I choose to follow the paths of Yahweh and the Goddess of Wisdom. My advice again is to pray and meditate for as long as you need in order that you take care where to place your steps on your path in life. I am confident that your wisdom will lead you to establish the wisest route.” Take care where you put your feet down, and all your routes will be established. (Proverb 4:26)
“And how will I know when I have found the right answer.” Bilqis asked somewhat resignedly.
Peaceful sleep will elude those that are apprehensive or afraid of stumbling on the right pathway to their Gods. I believe you will know the answer to your concerns when your God bestows you with a blessing of peaceful sleep. When you wake up rested and your mind is at peace, you will have found the answers you seek to follow the right path of your choosing. Then you will journey in safety, and your foot will not stumble. If you are resting, no fears will trouble you. When you lie down, sweet sleep will come to you. (Proverb 3:23)
